Superbowl Subs/Party! - Feb. 2nd All youth are invited and should join us for a super bowl party on Feb. 2nd. We will also be taking orders for Sub Sandwiches as a fundraiser for our summer trips and assembling the subs that morning. Let Nathan know if you are willing to donate some meat, cheese, and/or veggies.
Epicenter - Jr. High Retreat - Feb. 21-22 Jr. High students should definitely make this retreat! This weekend is going to be Epic! (It's in the name so it has to be true). Epicenter is a two day, one night middle school youth gathering that features a house band, high quality presenters, inflatables, a crazy dress dance, video gaming, breakout sectionals and much, much more! High School Seniors High School Seniors have an opportunity to receive a scholarship for their first year of college, trade school, or other post-high school education. They can pick up a Grisbee Scholarship application from me or the office. The Grisbee family has awarded over $100,000 to high school seniors over the last 15 years. Applications will be due by March 2nd. You don't want to miss this opportunity.

Blood Drive Our first blood drive of 2014 will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd in the Loomis Center from 3:00 until 7:30. We look forward to seeing our regular donors, and hope there will be new donors as well. After donating, we serve juice and cookies in the kitchen, and enjoy a time of fellowship. Kenya I am going to Kenya May 30 - June 9 of this year. Im going because I am excited about what God is up to in East Africa. Im looking forward to seeing thousands of people flock to eye clinics to hear about Jesus and be served via vision clinics. Im pump ed to know that through glasses and conversations, the Spirit will move and Jesus will be present in our midst. Im also thrilled to work alongside wonderful people like you and explore a country that is beautiful and whose boundaries and dwellings God has ordained. Kid's Choir & Bells at Colonial Oaks Nursing Home On Saturday February 15th our kids will do a concert for the residents of Colonial Oaks Nursing Home. We will meet at church in the gym at 1pm for a final rehearsal and then travel over to Colonial Oaks located at 21601 Provincial Blvd Katy TX 77450. Our concert there begins at 2pm and will last about thirty minutes. Kids should wear red or pink as the songs will be themed around love. Please let April or Elizabeth know by Feb 12th if your kids will be in attendance.
