Article41providedforsocializationinthemining,ironandsteelsectors,aswellasinenergyand transportation. Otherpointsofconstitutionalimportancewererecognitionofthedignityandhumanityofpeopleinthe economicsphere,thisincludedtherighttowork,theeighthourworkday,minimum12daysofvacation,the righttostrike,aswellasauniformindustriallawforworkers,employeesandofficialsinwhichlockoutis prohibited.DueoftherecencyofhistoricaleventsunderNaziism,thesocialaspectsoftheconstitutionwent muchfurtherthantheydidinconstitutionsadoptedlateronbytheotherFederalstatesinGermany. Article21remainsalegalcuriosity.Accordingtoit,thedeathpenaltymaybeimposedforparticularlygrave crimes.Althoughthepertinentpassagehasnotbeenstruckfromtheconstitutioneventothepresentday,itis nolongerineffectduetotheabolishmentofthedeathpenaltyattheleveloftheFederalconstitution.The
