TITLE: PROPOSAL FOR THE ANNUAL COMPANY TRIP TO LANGKAWI ISLAND. 1.

INTRODUCTION School holidays are around the corner, so we have planned an annual trip for the coming school holiday. The number of people who will be involved in the trip is at least 50 people and all of them are the companys staff and their families. We are given two destinations to be chosen for the trip, which are Lang awi !sland and "ameron #ighlands. The trip will be held on $ovember %00& in order to support our governments vision, visit 'alaysia. There are several reasons why the company annual trip was held among the staff. (irst of all, this annual trip was held to appreciate all the wor ers who wor so hard to ma e sure that the company runs smoothly. (rom this trip, they may have some time to get themselves out of busy wor , from stress and can en)oy themselves with their family. *lso they can spend time with family after busy with their wor . This also can create a good relation among the wor ers as well as with their family. So from this trip hopefully will give entertainment and en)oyment to the wor ers in order to boost the wor ers to do their )ob in future. !n order to choose the trip place, we have done some research to estimate the budget and useful activities that can be done during the trip for both places. +oth of the trips will ta e three days and two nights. We have estimate that the trip for Lang awi !sland will be around ,' %0 000, however the trip for "ameron #ighlands will be ,' -5 000. The cost is for 50 people and it included the return tic et, accommodation, food and tour around the place. +oth of places have its own [Link] and advantages, so it is not possible for it to ta e that much of cost. +oth places have its own [Link] and attraction and it is very difficult to choose either "ameron #ighlands or Lang awi !sland as a location for the annual trip.

2. CAMERON HIGHLANDS

%.- "ameron #ighlands is actually one of 'alaysia/s most popular holiday destinations, situated high above the clouds on a nest of serene mountains. Located in the center of a vast mountain range that cuts across 0eninsular 'alaysia, the "ameron #ighlands offer visitors a chance to spend their vacation in the cool of the highlands, where lush landscapes and peaceful sceneries abound in this green environment. * refreshing cool retreat is the best way to describe "ameron #ighlands. "ameron #ighlands also is the largest hill resort in the country. "ameron #ighlands offers visitors a moderate climate with daytime temperatures averaging around %51" and -21" at night. The "ameron #ighlands is part of 0ahang state, though most entry points, via Tapah and Simpang 0ulai, lie in 0era state. The township of "ameron #ighlands is itself divided into Tanah ,ata, +rinchang and ,inglet. *s "ameron #ighlands is a popular tourist spot, most of the infrastructure is modern, so we can find all the conveniences that we need. !n Tanah ,ata, there are plenty of amenities such as ban s, cyber cafes and a bus station while in ,inglet, there is a ban located along the main road and two petrol stations. !n Tanah ,ata also have two more ban s while +rinchang has another ban and petrol station. The weather of "ameron #ighlands can best be described as 3cooling wet/. +eing high up the mountains means it/s constantly cold and humid, with lots of mist in the early mornings and late evenings. While here, we are encouraged to wear wind4 brea ers, )ac ets and other appropriate clothing.

We can visit the various factories and watch the manufacturing process of tea, en)oying a cup of the popular drin along the way. The farms open for visitors include the +oh Tea 0lantations, Sungai 0alas 6state and +harat Tea 6state. We can also go further down past +rinchang into +lue 7alley for more tea plantations. #ere, the famous and well nown tea plantations are +oh Tea 0lantation, Sungai 0alas Tea 0lantation and "ameron 7alley 0lantation. %.%.% (ruit and 7egetable (arm 5ther attractions of "ameron #ighlands are fruit and vegetables farm. The farms will charge us a rate for the amount of strawberries and other fruits and vegetables that we pic . This is a must visit if we want to now and learn about the history behind "ameron #ighlands. !n this gallery, a lot of the photos depicting the past are from personal collections of the locals who have been here since the pre4war days. we could also find some good restaurants in Tring ap and 8ampung ,a)a where the locals usually dine. +ased on this information, "ameron highlands actually can be chosen as a destination trip by referring to the history, the attractions, accommodations as well as the activities that we do during our trip. We can get everything there and thats the advantages if we held our trip there. #owever, "ameron #ighlands still need improvement more and not )ust focusing on the plantation, farm and etc. The government can ma e the tourist more want to go there by having cinema, outdoor theme par and indoor game centre li e bowling and etc. The weather of "ameron #ighlands also not cools as past time. This might because of the development that ma e the temperature become high. The overall budget for 50 persons if we held our trip here is around ,'-5,000 including the tic et, accommodation, food and tour around the place.

3. LANGKAWI ISLANDS

9.- Lang awi !slands has one of the more stable climates for an island in 'alaysia. !t is located $orthwestern "oast of 0eninsular 'alaysia, about 90 m from 8uala 0erlis and 5- m from 8uala 8edah on the mainland. Lang awi !slands comprises a group of && tropical !slands. +rimming with culture, mysteries, legends and an abundance of natural scenery, Lang awi is the perfect getaway for families or friends loo ing for a pleasant holiday. 0ulau Lang awi/s landscape is painted with marbled mountains, vast paddy fields and rural villages, miles and miles of white sandy beaches, secret caves, and poc ets of virgin rainforests dating bac millions of years. Lang awi !slands also have more historical and breathta ing scenery places compared to "ameron #ighlands. "onsidered as ?ewel of 8edah with beautiful beaches, world4class infrastructure, mangroves rich in flora and fauna, ultra4cheap duty4free shopping and fascinating legends, Lang awi become famous trip destination for local visitors and foreigners. 9.% *TT,*"T!5$S !n Lang awi !slands, there are so many interesting and historical places for us to visit. #ere are some of the famous places that neither the tourist nor the visitors seldom to visit including the beaches, shopping centre, historical places and etc. 9.%.- 8uah 8uah is the Lang awi/s main town and port where ferries from the mainland and 0enang anchor. #ere, we can find numerous duty free shops and many new hotels and chalets with prices suits with our budget. This beautiful par is an open4air garden museum that highlights the many myths and legends of Lang awi including the legends of heroic giants, mythical birds, evil ogres and beautiful princesses. 9.%.: Waterfalls There are many waterfalls here such as Seven Wells Waterfall which is also nown as *ir Ter)un Telaga Tu)uh and is indeed a geological marvel. 5thers li e Aurian 0erangin Waterfall which is located in ,aya 'ountain $ature 0ar area, Temurun Waterfall, Lubu Sembilang Waterfall and etc. 9.%.5 Aataran Lang This is one of the most prominent landmar s in Lang awi. This ma es it an eBcellent destination for scuba diving and snor eling. The pleasant white beaches are also the perfect retreat for those who want to escape the business of urban living in cities. +esides diving, we can en)oy swimming in clear warm seas and sun4bathing on the glittery white sand. 9.9.% !sland #opping Tour We can visit two famous islands in Lang awi which are 0ulau Aayang +unting and 0ulau +eras +asah. 0ulau Aayang +unting is the second largest island within the Lang awi archipelago and contained within is the largest fresh water la e in 'alaysia. 0ulau +eras +asah, on the other hand, is a peaceful place that/s perfect for water sports.

9.<.% +y (erry !f were willing to put up with the crowds, the ferries operate four routes to Lang awi from 8uala 8edah, 8uala 0erlis, 0enang and Satun in Thailand around the cloc . Lang awi !sland is the best to choose as a trip destination because Lang awi is warm and sunny almost year round. !t is our most ideal place to unwind in peace. We will love this island even when it is raining. The night life at this island is usually .uiet H peaceful and it is suitable for our trip to en)oy peace trip and release from burden of wor .

CONCLUSION +oth places offered a best holiday eBperiences li e Lang awi !sland offers beautiful beach scenery, tropical and beautiful sea with a lot of activities that can be done. 5n the other hand, "ameron #ighlands offers a cool, charm, architecture style buildings and tea farms which are soothing greenery and breathe ta ing scenery. (urthermore, both places offer a good place to have a holiday and good relaBation. 5ur trip will be on $ovember, where it is on school holiday time and it will be sure that everyone wants to go for holiday. !t is to spend their time with their family and relation as well. 6ven the tic et price, hotel price and also food price will be increased as the sellers wants to get some income. !f we have ordered or inform the person in charge earlier, for sure we can get the normal rate or reduces price. +esides, if we were going in a group, for sure we can get discount and good services from the sellers. Last but not least, after )udging the trip of the place from all the aspects, we choose Lang awi !sland because it is easy to reach which is either by air or land. !t has a great outdoor activity that can be done there. Lang awi !sland also has a lot of interesting place to be visited compare to "ameron #ighland where "ameron #ighland is for those who are nature lover but Lang awi !sland is for both nature lover and also for those who wants some challenging activities. Lang awi !sland also famous of its historical places that will give us a lot of information compared to "ameron #ighland. 6ven though the

cost of Lang awi !sland is more eBpensive rather than "ameron #ighland, we prefer the beautiful beach, lovely breeFe of the sea and the adventure that we can get from the sea and from the )ungle and also the historical places that can be visited. 'oreover, this trip will be the unforgettable eBperience and memories for the restless and sincere staffs.
