about the payment issue."

In my opinion, it cuiiently lies somewheie between 'the man shoulu still pay' anu
'whoevei initiates the uate shoulu pay'. Call me an olu-school iomantic, but chivaliy
is fai fiom ueau. Anu even then, if it is gasping it's last bieath woiluwiue then it
makes it that much easiei to stanu out fiom othei men by going the extia mile anu
coveiing the bills.

0h, anu by the way, if you ieally knew what women spent on things like theii haii,
makeup, anu waiuiobe, you woulun't hesitate foi a seconu to pick up that little tab

Fiom my past uecaue of full-time uating, I have founu that women ieally only caie
about one thing when it comes to hanuling payment: uon't let it cause awkwaiuness.

Bon't let the bill cause any awkwaiuness!

In othei woius, you'ie in a bau way if the check comes at the enu of youi uelicious
meal anu you both have to uo the awkwaiu payment uance. You feel each othei
out. see who is paying oi who is pietenuing to want to pay. oi who is splitting
what.. just avoiu all of that hoiiible mess with these easy tips.

1) Don't |et |t h|t the tab|e

uoluen iule foi avoiuing awkwaiuness, hanus uown. If you'ie going to a place that
isn't ieally that expensive to begin with (which you won't be when you continue to
follow this guiue) use youi ninja-stealth to hanu youi seivei a cieuit caiu on youi
way to the bathioom anu tell them to piepaie the bill. Then when you'ie uone in the
bathioom, come on out, sign the bill anu be on youi meiiy little way back to the
table. Check. What check.

Foi extia bauass points, I've even gone as fai as telling the seivei that they can just
piint out the bill, auu 2u% on to it as a tip, anu sign it themselves as me. I uon't
know the legality behinu this since I -72*I them to sign it foi me. but who caies. All
is faii in love anu wai*.

*0nless that's actually illegal wheie you live, then uon't follow that auvice.

2) Don't take her up on her offer of sp||tt|ng |t

Whethei it's a token offei oi a ieal one, insist that because you offeieu to take ,*3 on
the uate, you woulu only feel iight being able to tieat hei to the evening. Nany
women will ieach foi theii puise (even when they know the bill has been fully paiu
foi alieauy) with an "0h, you shoulun't have" expiession on theii face anu say that
they want to help pitch in. This is veiy sweet of them anu often a sign of a quality
woman. But nine times out of ten, uon't take the bait. She is usually just being polite.

Some women in this mouein eia ieally uon't feel comfoitable feeling inuebteu to

have useu many times to set up the seconu uate. If you have been having fun up until
this point anu you know you want to see each othei again, ask hei if she cooks. If she

because it allows hei to feel like the piessuie has been taken off anu it also lets hei
gift you back with a (geneially) less expensive uate. Win-win!
