Although I initially found this book very difficult to read the process of writing a review has forced me to think more clearly about the aspects that stood out to me and to form more definite opinions on its principles. The fact that I am currently learning Greek has defiantly given me a greater appreciation for r. Cho!s e"ploration of the language which surround the spiritual dimension. I also feel that I have learned many principles which will be helpful in developing my prophetic ministry' All in all I believe that reading this book has been a useful learning e"perience if a difficult one.

Dr. Cho's conversion to Christianity during a critical illness shaped his ministry profoundly. His intense study of the Gospels after being influenced by a Christian girl helped him understand and love Jesus deeply, fueling a personal relationship with Christ. This foundation was pivotal to his later teachings on spiritual dimensions and the motivational forces like the Love of God, driving his approach to ministry and spiritual leadership .

Dr. Cho defines love, particularly 'agape' love, as a spiritual motivational force distinguished from human emotional love. It is an act of will inspired by the Holy Spirit and should be the fundamental motivation for using spiritual gifts. While emotions are involved, true love originates in the spirit and aims to glorify God rather than oneself, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of spiritual gifts .

Dr. Cho explains that thoughts and words are deeply interconnected, with the Greek term 'logos' representing the idea that words are expressions of thought. In Matthew 12:34, it's noted that words reflect the fullness of the heart, indicating that what one speaks impacts the whole being. Consequently, controlling words can control circumstances, as speaking faithfully enacts spiritual authority, influencing the fourth dimension .

Dr. David Yonggi Cho describes the 'fourth dimension' as the spiritual realm that encompasses the physical dimensions of height, depth, and breadth. This fourth dimension is where supernatural events occur, transcending natural laws. When a person is 'born again,' their spiritual self is reactivated, enabling them to understand and operate within this spiritual dimension. Christians are encouraged to be as comfortable in the fourth dimension as they are in the physical world .

Dr. Cho connects stress management with spiritual clarity by noting that stress negatively affects one's ability to hear the Holy Spirit clearly, thereby hindering prophetic ministry. He highlights the importance of guarding against negative thinking patterns, which can distract and prevent effective spiritual engagement. Regular spiritual disciplines like prayer can counteract stress and maintain a focus on divine guidance .

Language study significantly contributed to Dr. Cho's theological insights, particularly regarding Greek terms such as λογος (logos) and ρημα (rhema). He identified that 'logos' related to thought and existence of words, while 'rhema' indicated the action of speaking God's words. These distinctions reinforced his understanding of prophesy as an activity involving both reception and action upon divine communication, impacting his views on ministry dynamics .

According to Dr. Cho, understanding the fourth dimension is facilitated by the Holy Spirit, who is considered a guiding presence sent after Jesus' ascension. The Holy Spirit reveals God's nature by communicating with our spirits, and by establishing a closer relationship with Him, individuals can gain greater insight into the spiritual realm. Dr. Cho emphasizes the importance of inviting the Holy Spirit into all aspects of life to reflect the character of God .

The principle of incubation involves a creative process of focusing on and confessing desires inspired by the Holy Spirit. It entails six stages: having a Spirit-inspired desire, specificity in prayer, allowing fullness of the Spirit, maintaining faith, and envisioning the fulfillment of the desire. This process helps to align personal intentions with God's will, fostering manifestation through spiritual engagement .

Dr. Cho distinguishes between the works of the Holy Spirit and demonic spirits by using 1 John 4:1-3, which teaches believers to test spirits to see if they are from God. A spirit is of God if it acknowledges Jesus Christ's incarnation. Anything the Holy Spirit does can be counterfeited by the Devil, exemplified by non-Christian figures performing miracles. However, genuine works of the Spirit will glorify Jesus, not individuals, indicating divine origin .

Dr. Cho suggests enhancing prophetic gifting through greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit, guarding against negative thinking, and motivated by God's love. Practicing prayer and spending time in God's presence develops spiritual awareness and willingness to align personal desires with divine will. Understanding Greek language insights may also aid in understanding the dynamics of prophesy as an active engagement with God's words .
