NATIVITY: a) Nativity by birth: The applicant should have been born in the Union Territory of Puducherry and should have been continuously residing with in the Union Territory prior to the date of application. b) Nativity by continuous residence: The applicant should have been continuously for five years in the Union Territory prior to the date of application. The applicants should produce the required Nativity Certificate issued by an Officer of the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management not below the rank of Deputy Tashildar. 5. The candidates are required to submit the applications in the prescribed format as given in annexure which may be typed out and filled up by the candidates along with the following attested copies of the certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer. (1) Certificate showing the Educational Qualifications. (2) Birth certificate (3) Caste/Community Certificate. (4) Nativity Certificate. (5) Two Passport Size Photo (The name of the candidate should be written in block letters on the backside of the photo) The selected candidates shall be required to submit original Nativity Certificate and Caste/Community Certificate as per the reservation viz. OBC as mentioned in their applications. Any failure/deviation to produce these certificates shall lead to cancellation of their selection and the onus of responsibility shall solely be with the candidate to produce the original certificates. 6. Qualifications obtained after 31.12.2011 shall not be considered 7. The candidates will have to produce all their original certificates separately when called for. 8. No original certificate should be sent along with the application. 9. Such of those applicants who are already in service should send their applications through proper channel in advance so as to reach before the prescribed date and time. 10. Recruitment will be made based on a written test of objective type questions. The question paper will be in General English, Mathematics, Engineering and current affairs.
