It will change their life. There are some flyers at the Welcome Center. Put one on the bulletin board where you work, if you can. _____________ VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible School- 2013 was a huge success. We averaged 206 in nightly attendance and the total offering was $1,710.47. A big thank you to the children and their parents for making this one of our greatest VBSs ever! Several gave their hearts to the Lord. We did not get an exact total.
TWO WHO BECAME ONE Bill knew that something was wrong with his beloved wife Evangeline. She was having trouble walking. Her speech slurred. Her energy was waning. After conferring with a local doctor who seemed unable to diagnose and treat her problems, Bill took her to a well-known clinic in Cleveland. Evangeline was there for three days and, as far as she knew, the doctors had not determined her ailment. On the last day Bill wheeled Evangeline out of the hospital and helped her into their car. A doctor asked to see Bill for a few minutes before they left. When Bill returned to the car he found a very discouraged Evangeline. Ive been examined for three day she complained, and still I dont know whats wrong with me. Did they tell you anything? With all the love he could show in his eyes, he said these words, Honey, we have M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis). Obviously, Bill took seriously Jesus words that when a man and a woman are joined together in matrimony, the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. (Mark 10:8). Evangelines illness in a very real sense was his as well. Together they faced the challenge to the end. (copied) Summer Theme 2013 Everywhere Fun Fair takes children to a global celebration with the look and feel of a worlds fair. Children will make friends with neighbors around the world and discover that Gods love can be found everywhere, including their own neighborhoods. Your child will be introduced to specials places from all over the world and discover that we are all neighbors and all children of God. Lou passed away early Tuesday morning on what would have been her & Homers th 58 anniversary. As you know, Homer passed away just 6 weeks ago. She is with him and her parents, grandparents, sisters & brother now. Her mind is clear and there is no confusion. She was the last charter member of the Russellville Church of God. The visitation was at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday evening and the funeral was on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and the burial followed at the Hamblen Memory Garden. Please keep her daughter Sandra (Ronnie) Lawson, her brothers, Jimmy (Geraldine) Creech, Billy Don (Frances) Creech and sister, Shirley (Don) Jones in your prayers.

When we work an eight-hour day and receive eight hours pay for our effort that is a WAGE.
When we compete with an opponent and receive a trophy for our superior performance that is a PRIZE. When we receive something in recognition for our service or achievement, that is an AWARD. But when we can earn no wage, can win no prize and deserve no award yet we receive such a gift that is unmerited favor. That is undeserved kindness. That is GRACE. .
