Side Notes:
This song was born when cellist Steve Nelson and I were goofing around with the famous Pachelbels Canon and a U2 feel. The reason we had to change the title from Pachelbel meets U2 to Pachelbel meets Me2 is because our permissions person cleared things properly for the recording but not for the sheet music. Luckily the U2 part is played mostly by the cello, so the piano score is pretty much the same (the cello score is no longer available). A track minus the piano (hereafter referred to as "minus track") is also available if you want to perform the song together with a recording of the orchestration.
Helpful Hints:
For the best first impression, start learning this song at measure 41. For best results, let the accompaniment be a compliment to, rather than a competitor with, the melody.
