It's taken me 2 hours, but I've changed the format of all our portraits into Microsoft Office Word file, named Collated Group Portrait. Bob can add his portrait onto it, I've made space. Also, Bill Potts' information does not fit in one page. As I mentioned earlier, Bill Potts portrait needs to be paraphrased and filtered for information. I will try to change the format for the persona and extreme characters too.

Hi, as promised the first, slightly skeletal version of the master doc is up. There is a word doc and a PDF. I have enabled track changes in the word doc but if you make changes, please save it as a new name with your initials at the end e.g. master document_PM, otherwise we will be in danger of clobbering each others work. I will get the storyboards in next because the is the fiddliest work then start rolling in the frame analyses and Nelson's introductory text. Hello, I guess everyone is in bed now. I apologise if I woke anyone up. I just wanted to tell everyone that I've just completed re-creating all our portraits, personas, extreme characters, and reference files into one complete Microsoft Office Word file. You can find it in drop box. Please edit or add information as you please. Also, I am not familiar with the concept of adding footnotes as a writing style; therefore, I've deleted all the footnotes previously while making the publisher version, but I'm sure I've added them on the reference page. I anyone is uncomfortable with this idea, please feel free to change it. Well I'm off to bed now.

Hello :) Im having trouble starting my commentary/explanatory paragraph for my portrait and extreme character. i'm not sure what kind of information i need to add and how I need to set it out. Has anyone started or finished their commentary/explanatory paragraph and is okay about sharing it so I can use it as an exemplar to write mine? In addition, I've just uploaded the 'reference list collection' file and updated the newbie barrister persona. Also, how many extreme character portraits do we need? I'm not familiar with with the use of footnotes, so I was thinking of making a separate page for all references, deleting all the footnotes and references on each page of the portraits, persona, and extreme characters. Hi everyone, I have uploaded an updated breakdown of the legal aid scenario (Legal Aid Barrister Dilemma v2), and a crude initial sketch for how the action could be storyboarded (DECO7110 Legal Aid Storyboard.jpg). This is just something to spark our artists to make something better so feel free to mutate it in any way you like, and to generate feedback. One of my golden rules is people give much better feedback when confronted with something tangible! Note that I have reduced the 16 original "moments" into a more manageable 9 shots, combining some shots, removing an unnecessary character and moving some of the action into the titles on the images. Now would be a good time for everyone to have a peek and throw in some constructive criticism - the text is pretty bland and the "shots" that I have set out would make a cinematographer weep. ;) Cheers and find regards, Paul

Hi, I have attached a reworked version of my portrait using the powerpoint template. Unfortunately Dropbox refuses to accept the file. Given that we want to reference our sources in each page of our final document we should probably move to using Word and its lovely end notes instead of powerpoint. I recommend end notes because it keeps each page far cleaner

Sorry I couldn't make it to the group meeting today. I saw the notes posted on the group blog and they were wonderful. For Moday's homework, correct me if i'm wrong, we need 2 1 1 3 portraits extreme character persona dilemma scenarios

which need to be complete for hand-in. Can somebody update me on what was discussed during the group meeting? Have you already decided on who will be doing what? Also, does anybody mind me doing my portrait on Mary Gaudron? I looked her up after Paul's post and I was intrigued. I've left comments on our group blog, but I don't think anyone noticed them.
