The fundamentals of wireless system will be introduced first, followed by the transmission line theory and microwave network analysis. Then, the basic design principles of antennas will be discussed. This course also covers the fundamentals of a variety of microwave components including filters, directional couplers, microwave amplifiers and mixers.
