Just Around The Corner...
Attention church leaders and anyone with a heart and passion for missions! Andy Ott will be leading a workshop on Saturday, March 23 to help WLBC understand our unique giftedness, and determine a strategic focus that will maximize our resources for global and local missions impact. The workshop employs a variety of media and interaction to help us customize our missions focus based on who we are as a local body of believers. We will begin at 8:00 am, and should finish around 1:00 pm. (The Mens Prayer Breakfast has been canceled for March.) A healthy breakfast and snacks will be furnished. Please begin praying about this workAnnie Armstrong shop, and WLBCs role in Easter Offering fulfilling the Great Commission.

Easter Project for College Students
Shipping costs have increased to the point it is no longer feasible to collect items, box them and ship them to our College Students. So instead, we will send an Easter Card with words of encouragement and include a gift card. We need donations to purchase the gift cards. Please give cash or checks made out to WLBC and on the memo line write Adult III Easter Project. The deadline for funds is March 10th. We appreciate your help in encouraging our college students.
* As a reminder, please give your college students address to the church office to assure the student receives their card.
WLBC Praying for EUROPEAN PEOPLES Pray that the evangelical churches in Berlin will reach out to their communities. Petition that walls are broken down and hearts opened to the Gospel. Ask God to strengthen those who minister in these churches and give them wisdom to know how to reach the lost.

Many times we are asked, Who is my deacon? To help you, we will list the Deacon of the Week and his list of families in the WLBC Bulletin ENewsletter. There will be a complete list posted on the bulletin board near the church office. This complete list is alphabetical by your last name. We hope this will help you know who your deacon is for the year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.
Bible Quiz
In 2 Peter 1:16-18, the apostle Peter writes about being on a mountain with Jesus when something unusual happened. Christ, Peter says, received honor and glory from God the Father. Peter, James and John were all eyewitnesses of his majesty. To what event was Peter referring? A. Jesus baptism B. Jesus transfiguration C. Jesus crucifixion D. Jesus resurrection (The answer can be found in Mark 9:1-10.) Grandpas drug problem My generation just might have been lucky. I had a drug problem when I was young, but I turned out all right anyway. I was drug to church. I was drug to family reunions. I was drug out of bed in the early morning. I was drug by the ears when I was disrespectful. I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents. Those drugs still run through my veins and they affect my behavior today.
The Knight Family is no longer on the foreign mission field. They are home in Lynchburg.
On mission to reach people for the family of God.
