February Newsletter: School Events & Updates

The newsletter provides information about upcoming events at Apostles Lutheran School including no school the following week for President's Day and a teacher's conference. Progress reports will be sent home on February 15th. Spirit Week will be held from February 25th to March 1st where students can dress up each day with themes and the class with the highest participation will win a traveling trophy. The newsletter also discusses what will be covered in class that week including Zoo Phonics, prayers, math, and memorizing addresses. Valentine's Day parties will be held on February 14th.

This week we will learn about two very different prayers in the lesson of Two Men Pray. We will then hear the parable of The Good Samaritan and learn how God wants us to be willing to love and help others in their time of need. In math we will work with pattern blocks, numbers and ordering. Keep working on helping your child memorize his/her address! :)
