Queen is lying on the bed, crying.

Scene 2 (White corner)


Servant whispers to King. King rubs his temples, looking sad and disappointed.

Scene 3 (Dining Hall, at night)

Uncle (Thomas Howard), Dad (Thomas Boleyn) and Mother (Elizabeth Boleyn) are in a room. U: The queen has lost yet another child, a boy. M: The king and queen, once happily married... now barely speaks. D: Im sure it won't be long before he seeks for a mistress. Ive given it some thought and wondered why not Anne? M: Shes our daughter, Thomas! U: Wouldnt you want her to have a happy marriage? Like Mary? D: If Anne was a simple girl like Mary, Id say yes, but shes not Fade out

Scene 4 (Sultan Abdul Samad, morning)


King is seen riding on a horse and arrives The Boleyn familys place. The Boleyn family welcomes the king. K: Sir Thomas. D: Your Majesty, you are most welcome. May I present my daughter, Anne Boleyn. Anne and King smile to each other.

Scene 5 (Dining Room, Morning)


Brother runs in

B: The King is injured!

Mary takes care of King in a bedroom. King wakes up. K: Who are you? M: Mary, Your Grace. Annes sister. K: How come Ive never notice you? M: Next to Anne, it is possible. Close-up of Marys wedding ring on her hand which was taking care of the kings wound. K: And youre married? M: Yes, Your Grace. To William Carey. K: Then why havent I seen you in court? M: Thats because Ive persuaded him to stay here for a year or two. K: Dont you think he misses the court? King moves closer to Mary K: Why dont you come to the court? Intimate scene behind a curtain

Scene 8
Black background with words displayed Mary and Anne were summoned into the court and Mary becomes pregnant.

Scene 9 (Brown Cloth, anytime)


Mary is seen to be in pain, lying on a bed. The scene then fade out to Mary lying on a bed in a dark room. Anne is angry because the King was supposed to be with her. Dr.: (voice-over) The baby lives. Shes not miscarried. But for the sake of the child, she has to be confined to bed until she gives birth.

Scene 10 (Dining Room, night)


Uncle, Dad and Mum are in a room U: (angry and worried) Now that Mary is lying-in, the king will no longer bed her. Out of compassion, he will only visit her once in what, a week? The queen will for sure have something planned, not the mention the other girls in the court. K: (hesitate) I U: Yes? K: I was going to suggest Anne. M: No! You cant!

K: Shes quite changed, she can entertain the king, and keep his mind on Mary at all times. Thats the only way that we can keep the kings attention from wandering to another rival. Fade out

Scene 11 (Sultan Adbul Samad, day time)


(Background music playing, without dialogue) A few scenes of Anne spending time with the King but refuses his gifts or to sleep with him.

Scene 12 (Brown Cloth, evening) (Sultan Abdul Samad) (Brown Cloth Corner)
Mary lies on the bed in pain, ready to give birth. Anne, Mom, Dad and Uncle stay outside of the room. The King arrives and Anne moves towards him. K: Anne, have you considered what I asked? When will you give yourself to me? A: How can I trust you, when Ive seen how you betrayed your first wife, and now my sister? K: I vow I will never lie with my wife, nor speak to your sister again, please, Anne. Just allow me to hope. M: (from a distance away) A boy! Your Majesty!

K: (to Anne) I will take care of the Mary and the child, please, Anne. M: (closer) A boy. A: (looks towards the baby then looks back at the king) Yes, my lord, you may have hope. King ignores Mary and the baby and walks away with Anne. Mary could not believe what she saw. Fade out

Scene 13 (Dining Room, night)


U: (extremely angry) Damn you Anne, in the moment of our greatest glory, you just had toA: Greatest glory? What glory? A mistress gave a man a bastard. M: Anne! U: You better have a plan, and it better work! M: And what about Mary? And her child? A: Mary and her bastard child will go back to the country. Its the king wish, and mine. Fade out

Scene 14 (Sultan Abdul Samad)

King and Anne is in the Kings room K: Your sister is gone, and I had someone to draw plans to send the queen to the nunnery, as you wished. Now, will you give yourself to me? A: My lord, I desire nothing more than this, *pause* but as long as we remain unmarried, any child I give you would be dubbed bastard, and I, a whore. K: What alternative is there? She is my wife. A: You can simply annul the marriage! Then you, my sweet lord, will be free to remarry. And I could give myself to you fully

Scene 15
Black background with words displayed Henry breaks from the Roman Catholic Church as the Pope refuses to annul his marriage to Queen Catherine, and declares himself Supreme Head of the Church of England. Anne becomes the queen.

Scene 16 (Sultan AS)


Queen confronts the King. Q: My lord, how have I offended you? I have been a true, obedient wife. I never expect you, the King of England, to destroy your marriage, your country, your soul before God... just for one girl, just because she tortures you with her refusal? Pause, close up of the King.

Q: You think she doesn't know exactly what she's doing? * pause* You are a king, so be one.

Scene 17 (Living Room table, evening)


King walks in angrily to the room Anne is in. K: (angry) Now you will give yourself to me. A: I thought I made myself clear, until were married, I wontK: Damn you! I have torn this country apart for you, got rid of a good woman in the queen, you will show me it was worth my while. King rapes Anne.

Scene 18 (Anne's bedroom Rb Yf, night)


Anne who is pregnant is lying on the bed, her stomach hurts. A: Im fine, Im fine, thank you. Just a bad dream, will you fetch my brother and sister here? Anne lifts up the blanket and is shocked. The white sheets are stained with blood. Mary comes into the room with their brother, George Boleyn.

Scene 19 (Staircase)
A: (sad) I lost it, almost without pain, and so quickly. Soon, the truth will be out, that I cannot bear children G: But youre still young, sister. You can still fall pregnant. A: He wont lie with me! *looks at George* Must I spell it out?

Mary and George get what Anne meant M: No, Anne! Its madness! Anne walks towards George A: George, please? You are my only hope, my life depends on it! M: No, come, George. George hesitates M: May God have mercy on you both (walks away) George hugs Anne

Scene 20 (Anne's bedroom) (Behind Closet) night


Anne and George are in a room, ready to commit incest. Georges wife, Jane Parker, secretly watches from outside and walks away. G: Im sorry Anne, I just cant. Im so sorry. A: Its alright, Ill tell the king in the morning. Lets hope hell have mercy on me. Anne and George both cry and hug each other.

Scene 21 (SAS) (Dining Room, night) A few scenes fade in and out. Background music playing, (without dialogue). -Jane tells the king about the incest. -Anne Begs the king. -George gets arrested and executed. -Mother slaps Dad.

-Mary begs King to spare Anne. -Annes execution scene.

Scene 22 Black background King Henry's break from the Roman Catholic Church changed the face of England forever. However, he had an heir who would rule England for forty-five years and transform it into one of the most powerful nations in Europe. It was not the son he desired, but the strong red-haired girl Anne gave him: Elizabeth.
