Estuarine crocodile sightings have been reported on the west coast of Fraser Island and the Great Sandy Strait. Camp at least 50 metres from the waters edge. Never clean fish or discard fish or food scraps near the waters edge, campsites or boat ramps. Take care when launching or retrieving your boat.
