Era Mae M. Ramirez will complete a clinical experience in nursing care management from January 24-26, 2013 at Ward 5 of the Zamboanga City Medical Center under the supervision of Mrs. Narisa Yasin. The objectives of the experience are to acquire and apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes in providing basic health services through the nursing process with an emphasis on leadership, management, and preventive care. Ramirez Clinical Experience: Nursing Care Management 109 Date: January 24-26, 2013 Time: 7:00 am-3:00 pm Clinical Area: Ward 5, Zamboanga City Medical Center Clinical Instructor: Mrs. Narisa Yasin, RN,MN General Objective: Acquisition and application of knowledge, skills and attitude through the utilization of the nursing process in providing basic health services to individual and family with emphasis on leadership and management skills, curative, rehabilitative, and preventive aspects in the community as beginning practicing public health nursing. Specific Objectives At the end of 24 hour of Related Learning Experience I shall be able to: 1. Establish rapport with my clinical instructor, co-student nurses, and health personnel professionally; 2. Participate actively in the pre and post conferences; 3. Identify patient for care; 4. Establish rapport with the patient; 5. Construct FDAR effectively. 6. Incorporate 11 competencies in every nursing procedures/interventions done. 7. Utilize the principle of therapeutic communication in patient interaction; 8. Practice proper aseptic techniques before and after procedure; 9. Assist willingly to the health personnel in the different hospital activities such as morning care. 10. Conduct drug study appropriately. 11. Perform nursing procedures such as: Recording Vital signs taking Weighing Administering medications 12. Complete medical, medical-intensive cases. 13. Discuss the module to be submitted in the classroom next week. 14. Evaluate the effectiveness of care rendered to the patient and my RLE performance at the end of the duty honestly.
