University Vision The UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP SYSTEM is a premier university which provides unique and innovative educational

processes, contents and researches for the pursuit of excellence in academics, technology, and research through community partnership and industry linkages. The University takes the lead role as a catalyst for human resource development. It continues to inculcate Christian values as a way of strengthening the moral fiber of the Filipino individuals, proud of their race and prepared for the exemplary global participation in the realms of arts, sciences, humanities, and business. It sees the Filipino people enjoying quality and abundant life, living in peace, and building a nation that the next generation will be nourishing, cherishing, and valuing. University Mission The UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP SYSTEM is dedicated to the development of Filipino as a leader. It aims to graduate dynamic students who are physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually committed to the achievement of the best quality of life. As a system of services in health and in education, the University of Perpetual Help System is dedicated to the formation of Christian service and research-oriented professionals, leaders and citizens with great social concern and commitment to the delivery of quality education and health care. It shall produce Perpetualites who outstandingly value the virtues of reaching out and helping others as vital ingredient to nation building. College Vision The College of Medical Technology of The University of Perpetual Help - Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University foresees to be the Perpetual Center of academic excellence, setting standards for all colleges of Medical Technology. College Mission The College of Medical Technology endeavors to produce graduates who are locally and globally competitive, research oriented, equipped with knowledge and technical skills needed in the performance of their duties and Christ centered professionals with great social concern and commitment to the delivery of quality health care using the reputable Medical Technology Education program of the University.

Objectives Cognitive Characteristics knowledge and information based as well as the reasoning ability to use such knowledge Technical Characteristics the psychomotor skills that allow to ascertain information about the patients and to perform various types of good quality laboratory examinations. Attitudinal Characteristics the Perpetualite values namely: Love of God, Love of Neighbor, Love of Country, Compassion and Helpfulness, Pursuance of Academic and Professional excellence, Health and Environmental Consciousness, Filipino Christian Leadership and Global Solidarity. Psychosocial Characteristics interpersonal skills which enable one to communicate and interact with peers, patients and other health care personnel locally and globally. Independent Learning Characteristics the resourcefulness and enthusiasm that will help them to research and pursue both academic and non-academic excellence in life.

History The University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA was founded and established in 1968 by Dr. Jose G. Tamayo in, as its first President and Chairman of the Board, with Co-Founder, Dr. Josefina Laperal Tamayo, as its Vice-Chairman and Treasurer. With both co-founders now deceased, the University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA is presently led by the first born of the founders, Dr. Antonio L. Tamayo. He is currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of UPH System JONELTA. Incidentally, he is also the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer the UPH System DALTA. The University of Perpetual Help System is composed of two subsystems, namely: The University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA and The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (formerly Perpetual Help College of Laguna) opened its door for academic excellence in 1976 with a total of 89 students in the first and second and 367 students in the tertiary level. The other campuses are located in Manila (1968); Malasiqui, Pangasinan (1970); the Medical Center in Bian, Laguna (1976); GMA, Cavite (1997); and in Isaabela (2004). Dr. Antonio Laperal Tamayo, founder and his wife Dr. Daisy Moran Tamayo, cofounder together with their friend, Ernesto Palanca Crisostomo, established on February 5, 1975 in Las Pias City the Perpetual Help College of Rizal, now the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Las Pias. The other units of DALTA Group are located in Molino, Cavite (1995); and Calamba City in Laguna (1996). It also has a Medical Center in Las Pias City.
