9:30 AM "Teach Them Diligently"

Annual Seminary Day is being held in the Free Reformed Church of St. George (269 St. George Road) on Labor Day, Monday, September 3 D.V. The morning session will begin at 10:30 AM with Dr. W. VanDoodewaard, Church History professor at PRTS, speaking on Thomas Boston: Preacher of Christ, and at 1:30 PM Rev. H. Bergsma will speak on Are Spiritual Gifts Vital to the Body of Christ Today? Nursery Care, Youth Activities and Musical Contributions are planned. Refreshments and Lunch will be provided at cost. An Offering will be received for the Free Reformed Theological Education Fund which supports the training at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. All ages are welcome.

September 9 (Sunday) Sunday School and Catechism classes start September 11 (Tuesday) 7 PM Dorcas Guild will hold their first meeting for this season, the Lord willing. Typically our meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of the month but the September meeting is a week later due to Labor Day. Our project for the month will be putting together school kits for Love Inc.

Visitors, welcome. We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us this Lords Day. Today, Pastor Lawrence W. Bilkes will lead our worship services. Next Sunday, we will welcome Pastor Mark Kelderman to our pulpit.

~ Church Family ~ Richard and Beatrice Tamale and their children Balister, Chiko,
Blessings and Martin will be returning to Malawi on Tuesday(5:45 AM) after being with us for 8 months. Pastor Tamale hopes to continue his studies at a college in Africa and pastor in the Nkhoma Synod. Please remember them in prayer for their journey and as they seek to discern God's direction for their family and future. May they experience the Lord's promise, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. They are very grateful for your love and care shown to them during their time here. Please Remember in Our Prayers: Mrs. Ann Baas, Mr. Everett Beute, Mr. Dave Huisjen, Mr. Case Kwekel, Pastor Albert Martin, Mr. Dwight Prince, Mr. Trent Timmer, Mr. Howard Vanden Toorn and Mrs. Mina Van't Hof.

Messages received after that time may appear in the following weeks bulletin. Thank you! Vineland Free Reformed Church is holding a retirement service for Rev. Pieter VanderMeyden who is retiring September 1, 2012. This service of thankfulness and praise to God for Pastor VanderMeyden's 34 years of service to our churches will take place at 7:30 PM at Emmanuel United Reformed Church in Jordan, ON on September 7. A time of fellowship will follow and they extend an invitation to all to attend this happy event.

Rev. Ray Lanning was expected to be transferred to Mary Free Bed this
past weekend. The doctors are suspecting the West Nile Virus.

Mrs. Ann Baas is having daily therapy and is recovering well.
