Painting with natural colours

We made brown by mixing soil with water and then sieving the mixture to remove any larger lumps or stones.

We mashed up a range of leaves using a food blender this gave us a dark green liquid.

We painted on pieces of old cotton sheets. We then made simple wooden frames and stretched our cloth on them.

When the pictures were finished we put them on display and evaluated our own work before looking at others.
