Citing the Catechism:

You should cite it like any other book source. Here is an example of how I cited it:

Catechism of the Catholic Church. Revised Edition with amendments following the publication of the Editio Typica. Great Britain: Geoffrey Chapman, 1999.

If you are using the online searchable Catechism, cite it the way you would cite a web source. See your agenda for the MLA style guide on that.
