Here we go.4.

3 is now upon us, and there are quite a few changessome that you might know of, some you may not. For this update, I will be covering The Basics (a few changes that are non-gold), The Professions (the specifics on each), and The Finale (a briefing on everything to make gold).

You might hear me reference TuJ (The Undermine Journal) throughout this update, as some items that I mention are server dependent, and using TuJ to look up your specific Auction House will allow you to access the situation. As a reminder, although something might not be profitable this minute for you, thats not to say that it wont be tomorrow. Or next week. Or next month. Please use this guide as a reference. Last I checked there were near 200 servers between US and EU, with thousands of players on each server. So when I mention something below, remember that. Not all things I will be discussing with you will be profitable on your server, please read into the process and form the ideas into a shape that fits you and yours. I would recommend that you read each page thoroughly, as you might not be a blacksmith or leatherworker, or a tailor or a scribe, but you are in the realm of AH PvP, and in a round-about way, one profession affects another. Enough of this, lets get to the reason you are here!

Quite a few, actually. If you arent a raider, or not even one to be involved in that sort of thing, you now just have a queue for LFR to kill the mighty Deathwing (if you havent already). Its a fairly simply fight, and a short hourish of your time will get you some nice purples to gear up

your toons. Just be aware if you kill three bosses in one raid, you are locked and will not receive more loot until the weekly Tuesday reset. Speaking of gear, there has also been a nice addition called Transmogrification. This allows you to re-use some of that old gear collecting dust in your bank, or it also allows you to make a nice coin. Basically, you can take the image of one set of gear or weapons and transmog them into your current gear. Dont forget to utilize the add-on MogIt, it helps tremendously. 9 times outta 10 if you think it looks good, others will too. Flip current AH items, or craft your own. Read on for specifics by profession If you havent rolled another alt yet for your profession needs, every patch it gets easier. With 4.3, the xp has been reduced leveling 71-80 by nearly a third. Get that old toon leveled already! Darkmoon Faire is NEW! In other words, its an island now, and can only be reached on the first week of each month (look at your in game calendar if need be). There is quite a bit of new things to do, so take some time and run over there for pets, mounts, great transmog gear, and dont forget to fish up your bubble seahorse! *More on this on The Finale..

For all you smiths out there, your top dog will be Transmog sales. Although you have your go to Enchanting Rods and Belt Buckles, you have a great commodity for gold making; you can craft gear and weapons, which are the height of Transmogrification. On the bullet points below, I cover a few of the top suggestions on what is happening here and now. Belt Buckles (both Ebonsteel and Eternal) are still big sellers, as folks are getting more gear by the day. Continue posting them, and if you arent currently, do so now. Vicious Pyrium and Vicious Ornate PVP sets- The mats cost on these seem to be dwindling, so the profits are higher on most servers (check TuJ). Not only did they upgrade from Bloodthirsty to Vicious, but they also upgraded to a 377 ilvl (which boosts the required to get into LFR groups). Blacksmithing Rods (Elementium/Adamantite/Arcanite/etc) will still be a viable sale, as more folks are getting into leveling second, third and tenth toons for gold making. Transmogging- Fel Iron Set, Imperial Plate Set, and Vicious Sets seem to have good volume (overall sales), and as for weapons, the best sellers are rounding up Elementium Anything (really), Phantom Blade, Notched Cobalt War Axe, and Blazing Rapier (if you have the recipe, as it is no longer in game). Your best bet is utilize the add-on MoGIt, and judge for yourself.

As with any patch, folks are gearing up. With 4.3, not only are they getting new gear, but some (and more and more each day) are mogging their gear as well. This in turn can affect your Enchanting sales, which is a good thing, right?! Keep selling the enchants you have been selling. Yes, the Vanilla, TBC and the Cata chants are selling. Nearly all of them. Many WoW players have multiple toons, folks are leveling every day, and they want enchants. If not just for the glowing shiny weapon that enchants add, but also the buffs they give. Below you will see a few of the Highlights for Enchanting in 4.3. Maelstrom Shatter- Learned at your local trainer, this ability allows you to do just that. Shatter Maelstroms, into two Heavenly Shards. Utilize this for flipping, resale, or crafting your enchants, which ever fits the best on your server. Very viable moneymaker Formula: Enchant Weapon Executioner is now BoE and can be learned via Dealer Jadyan in Netherstorm. When you are there, pick up a few extra as they are selling in the AH still. I dont have to tell you this, but dont bark enchanting. Toss them on Enchanting Vellums and put them on the AH. Guaranteed profit vs. Possible Tip, you guess who wins Top sellers in Enchanting? Old and newEnchant Gloves- Haste, Enchant Chest- Mighty Stats, Enchant Off-Hand- Superior Intellect, Enchant Weapon- Power Torrent, Enchant Boots- Haste, Enchant Cloak- Greater Intellect, Enchant Bracer- Speed.

This patch didnt receive the major changes most scribes were wishing for. However, Glyph sales (often the majority of Inscriptions sales) are holding steady. That is if you keep up on them. I have found that posting in the golden time, which is between 5-10pm allows the most sales without constantly posting/cancelling/re-posting. Do me (and yourself) a favor; keep Dust of Disappearance on the AH. Please. I sell quite a few of these on a daily basis, and most of the time I am the only one selling them. At times, I only profit a few gold on each one, but on weekends they have been known to hit 100g easy. Take the gold. You dont even have to [Link] I have listed a few changes you should be aware of regarding the changes in 4.3. If you are a max scribe, then you should be caught up on all your Research. 4.3 gave us a new glyph, albeit just a visual instead of a make-a-you-play better; Glyph of Shadow. Use two

Light Parchments, one Moonglow Ink for Minor Inscription Research, and BAM! New glyph. Easy as that. As with the other professions, most have a PvP set available, and Scribes arent left out. The previous sets have been upgraded to Vicious Charm of Triumph, Vicious Eyeball of Dominance, and Vicious Jawbone of Conquest. All are ilvl 377. Sales are slow, but check TuJ and/or your local AH for options.

BAM! Epic Gems in 4.3! DOUBLE BAM! We cant do anything about itPyrite Ore is not prospecting Epic Gems as of yet, we cannot purchase them with our Illustrious Jewelcrafters Tokens (yet), the best us cutters can do is either A) purchase one of the epics on the AH, cut, and resell or B) spam trade with our cuts or offer to purchase cuts. A good rule of thumb for me is charge 500g for any epic cut gems (for my time). How do I get that number? A specific cut costs 5 Illustrious Jewelcrafters Tokens, which means I have to do five dailies to purchase. I figure 100g per daily is a safe number, but your time might be worth more or less. Below I cover a few items specific for 4.3, so take a moment and read up! Multiple options for gold making here. Due to Blizzards change of using more red sockets on gear than any other color gems, there is always an increased demand for Inferno Ruby cuts. Also factoring in the recent demise of one of the most popular bots, Pirox, there is a major slowing of all farmed materials across most servers (once again, looking as a whole, it may or may not affect your server). EPIC GEMS ARE AVAILABLE! As of the current patch, the only way to get them is from raiding, but I recommend to stockpile your Illustrious Jewelcrafters Tokens (from the daily quest) and only use them if needed, as I am sure they will be adding options in the future for Cutters to get epix. FYI- If you are planning on buying cuts, they are 5 IJTs, if you prefer a deal and just get random cuts, you can buy Tome of Burning Jewels for 4 IJTs and you will proc a cut you do not currently have Shadowspirit Diamonds are great sellers, as singles, stacks of 5 or 10. If you have the previous patch BoE recipes (Agile, Burning, and Reverberating), these have the strongest sales (server dependant, please check TuJ). As always, Prospecting Ores are a great gold maker (the shuffle). If you want to limit your gold, then limit yourself to only Cata Ore (Obsidium, Elementium and Pyrite). Saronite, Titanium and Cobalt are also viable.

Leather. Although some might look at this profession as a dying breed, I see it as an extremely profitable Transmogging craft. Of course you have your own enchants with the Charscale Leg Armor , Drakehide and Dragonscale Leg Armor, which is a market in itself, but you also have multiple sets you can craft for Transmogrification. On the bullet points below, I cover a few of the top suggestions on what is happening here and now, and after you are done there, I have added a few of the top sets with wowhead links you can add to TSM or an easy shift click to your crafting window.

Another true crafting profession, Blizz updated the PVP sets, Vicious Charscale, Vicious Dragonscale, Vicious Leather, and Vicious Wyrmhide to accommodate the ilvl of 377. My opinion on crafting PvP sets is craft one of each. Bark them in trade Full set of X available for 3K (or whatever price you deem fit), looks great as a transmog, PST. Do this on popular server times, normally 5p to 10pm for the best turnout. Another option is to holler in trade about the i377 item level, as that has worked for me as well to promote sales. As an addition above, utilize the MogIt add-on to piece some crafted gear up onto the AH. Remember, if you think it looks cool, odds are others will too! The Vicious Fur and the Vicious Hide Cloaks have updated ilvls too; check your server for profitability. Green Dragonscale Gauntlets have been added via Trainer, so utilize this for your Transmog needs (A quick solo run in ST will give the other patterns for the Chest and Legs- although randomput them on your snatch list on the AH if you are lazy.). Some of the other top sellers in Leatherworking for mogging are: Wicked Leather Set, any of the Stylin Hat series, and a top personal seller is Wolfshead Helm. Charscale Leg Armor , Drakehide and Dragonscale Leg Armor will continue to sell for some time to come. Make sure you have multiple singles for sale at any one time on the AH for sales. You might toss up the lesser blue enchants (i.e. Twilight or Scorched) if the profits are there (TuJ).

In WoW, its a completely different story. Tailoring produces a great Transmogging craft. Like most other professions, you have enchants available that are always significant sellers, Powerful Enchanted Spellthread and Powerful Ghostly Spellthreads. On the bullet points below, I cover a few of the top suggestions on what is happening here and now in 4.3. Just like with the other professions, I have added a few of the top sets with wowhead links you can add to TSM or an easy shift click to your crafting window.

First off you have your enchantments, Powerful Enchanted Spellthread and Powerful Ghostly Spellthreads that should be in the AH at all times (of course!) Mirroring off the other crafting professions, you have your PvP sets selling in the AH, the Vicious Embersilk and the Vicious Fireweave, both updated from Bloodthirsty gear this patch, as well as the added ilvl of i377. Either are great looking sets for mogging sales.. Utilize your almighty sewing powers for mogging as well. Some of the top sellers are: Blue Linen Vest and Simple Kilt, Frozen Shadoweave Set, White Bandit Mask, and the Admirals Hat.

Ahthe Alchemists. I like to refer to us as potheads. See? I made you laugh. Anyways, in WoW, you have an indirect control of DPS, Healing, Mana Regen. You provide lifesaving Healing Potions, Mana pots, Strength buffs, you name it, you can make it. The question is, do you? If you arent, someone else is doing so, and making profits. I look at that as they are stealing from your pockets. Check TuJ for your top selling pots, elixirs, and flasks, and get your name out there as the go-to cat for their needs. If you are lucky enough, you might just get a guild to purchase mass quantities. Either way, utilize your profession and make some gold already! Below I cover a few tactics that are killing it in 4.3. Enjoy! In 4.3, your specialization quests (Elixir, Potion, and Transmutation) allow you to switch between them in your major cities instead of traveling all over gods green earth (or at least Azeroth) to switch specs. Transmute: Shadowspirit Diamond: Always a good moneymaker, especially if you have a Jewelcrafter to assist in gathering mats through Prospecting. Three of each green Cata gem will proc two Shadowspirits. If you have the Guild Perk Bountiful Bags, you can proc up to six (I was lucky enough to get three six procs in a row last week). Transmute: Inferno Ruby: With red gems selling quite well, this is a great daily option and a great goldmaker. Potion of Treasure Finding is still a top seller, along with your main raiding pots: Elixir of Impossible Accuracy, Flask of the Winds, Flask of the Draconic Mind, Volcanic Potion and Earthen Potion to name a few and to get you started. Once again, utilize TuJ for server specifics!

4.3 calls for Mogging in a big way. Who needs a dance studio in WoW? All we wanted was to customize our gear. This patch brought that directly to us. Before I go too much further, I have to list my favorite spot for viewing and deciding where to farm/craft a certain item. Heres my review of Icy Veins; ([Link] The only issue here is that is an out of game website. In other words, its a lot of clicking back and forth to find what you are looking for. And by the time you find the mogging set you are want, its probably BoP in x dungeon and you cant resell it anyway. So what do you do now? Im abouts ready to tells you!

If you are a profession crafter (Leatherworking, Tailoring, Blacksmith), you will probably be crafting some of your own mogging gear. If you arent, then you will need to set up some snatch lists. I will give you the same insight that I have with flipping mogging gear. Visual. Take ten minutes using MogIt (Check out the next chapter for more in-depth), and mouse over as you look through the pages on the AH. My experience thus far shows that the under 500g for mogging items is the current threshold for most sales. Helms and Shoulders are the top sellers, with chests, boots and gloves next, and the worst sellers being bracers and belts. Your server may vary, but not by much. Stick with the Helms and Shoulders if you are worried about your investments. Since they are the most visual on players, they are the first to sell. A good rule of thumb that I am using is most folks do not scoff at paying 1000g for a weapon for mogging. For some reason, greens do not sell as well as blues and epix. Although some have the same exact image. There is word that Blizz will be adding whites as well for mogging in the future. But for now, stick with greens thru epics. FYI- Although some will pay 10s of thousands for certain mogs, they are (and will be) a small percentage of your overall sales. As for pricing your items for sale, I would love to tell you exact, but I regret to inform you I cannot. Its daunting to deliver the correct price on my main server right now. My best advice is utilize the tools available to youTuJ, Tooltip info, wowhead droprate (rarity of item), things of that nature. You know who can tell you the price exactly? Your buyer. On your server. Use the 500/1000 I mentioned above as a good reference. What you will see below is my Auctionator Shopping Lists for Transmog flipping Weapons. Now this version isnt for the faint of heart. You need gold. The reason I am covering this option and not Auctionator snatch lists is this will allow you to do a full scan of your AH with one click of your mouse and you can choose which to flip according to your pocketbook. Are you ready? I hope so. Importing these lists into Auctionator might scare you, but fear not, young grasshopper. Its easy. Just follow my steps, and you should have zero issues. Note the should have. First off, open up the Auction House.

Go to your Auctionator Buy tab, and click on Manage Shopping Lists. You will then see a screen similar to this:

Click New. A window will pop up, go ahead and type in the new Shopping List Name. In this case, I am using Transmog:

After you click Accept here, you are golden. Literally. Now you will be back on the main shopping page. Highlight Transmog on the left side, and on the right side hit Edit.

Almost done. Now the following screen will popup:

In this window, I want you to copy and paste. Highlight from the lists below by hitting CTRL on your keyboard and tap C. You just copied it. Now in your WoW window, put your cursor in the black box (the image shows items already pasted) and hold down CTRL and tap V. BAM! Pasted. Click save, and you are all done. =) Now, all you need to do is go into your buy tab, click on your new Transmog Shopping List, and click Search for all Items. Wait for Auctionator to respond, and you are starting off flipping! Alto, what about this new addon you are talking about? Are you going to make us figure it out? Nah, heres a quick how to for you. Of course I didnt forget! MogIt! Its currently the best addon to utilize in game to see a full 3D image in game of your character equipping said item. After you download it, and toss it in your Addon folder, you are ready to rock.

In this image, I killed off all addons but MogIt so its easier to see the image. Since I have all kinds of addons to utilize my tooltips to its optimal use, a screenie with them enabled was just ugly. Long story short, just a simple mouseover of any item will allow you to see the image on your toon. Albeit a nekkid toon.

Now when you use this addon, there are multiple options. Start off with typing in /mog in your chat pane and you will have the main window popup. If you look up at the Module tab, you will have a mini window popup:

With this window, I want you to run down to Armorkinis and load all of them (currently you will need to do this on each toon- by the time you read it though this might be updated). Here you will have the option to load Armorkinis. Do so.

Now, just play around. When you mouseover the image, most are updated to show where the item is from, and it seems that the team that designed and implemented this addon are updating it what seems weekly. I know you what you are looking at nowThe mounts.

See what I mean? This addon will consume you. Play around, but not too much, as you need to realize one thingyou are using this addon to assist in making gold, right? =)

Formula: Enchant Weapon Executioner is BoE and can be learned via Dealer Jadyan in Netherstorm. Pick up a few while you are there. Keep them posted on the AH. Transmogging- Download the MogIT add-on. You wont be sorry. If you are not an add-on junkie, Icy Veins has a great website, I recommend this one by far! Sinister Squashlings are now BoE, along with nearly all the Winters Veil Presents (most used to be only BoP). Check your toons bank and see if you have any old pets sitting in there, you might get a sale or two! Chaos Orbs are now BoE, and what was once rare and hard to find (due to BoP), they are now cheap and plentiful on your AH. If you were a seller of Valor Point items previous (boots/bracers), dont fret, they are still available. The bracers that you were used to buying before 4.3 with VP you can use your Justice Points to purchase now. Along similar lines, you can now purchase Cata level Epic Gems from the Conquest Quartermaster for 750 Conquest Points each. Make sure and take the time to visit Darkmoon Island and pick up your Darkmoon Adventurers Guide to allow you to get Darkmoon Artifacts (most dungeons/raids/battlegrounds have them drop). Add these to your snatch lists folks: Adventurers Journal, Banner of the Fallen, Captured

Insignia, Imbued Crystal, Monstrous Egg, Mysterious Grimoire, Ornate Weapon, Soothsayers Ruins, and A Treatise on Strategy. These can be held until the week of Darkmoon to flip on the AH, I myself have stockpiled since 4.3 to resell at that time. So should you! *Edit- I wrote this just before Darkmoon, and I was snatching these up at 100-250g, and have sold them at up to 2200g today. Talk about a profit! For all you diggers out there (Archaeology), you may have noticed that your previous digs were 3-4 fragments, you can now look forward to 5-7 frags per digsite. There is still a need in the AH, you just might need to post a few times before sold, however still a viable goldmaker, and more so since 4.3. Flipping mogging gear is a great investment, and will be for some time. Utilize the MogIt add-on as you are searching the Auction House. As I mentioned above, if you think it looks good, odds are it will sell. Bear with your market though; some items will take longer than others. However as more folks become aware of this (yeah, some players dont know about it yet), sales will follow. My average mog item is nearing 750g, with the highest hitting 7500g and low end 250g. So there is quite a range. If there is an item I am not aware of the price, I will go to [Link] and check under droprates. If there is a low droprate (less than .05%), then I adjust my price accordingly. I also utilize the how many times seen on my tooltip when I mouse over the item. This will also give me an idea of how rare an item is.

I hope that you will enjoy Patch 4.3. There are many gold making opportunites within, and upon reading this, you are aware of many of them. As with any patch, people forget to use the good ol tried and true methods for gold. Be sure to read back throughout 20K Leveling if you havent already.
