Introduction
Adobe FlashTM has evolved from a simple animation tool, to a full-fledged internet workhorse. Harness the raw power of Flash with the built-in scripting language, Learn Action Script, to create web games complete with physics and advanced collision detection. Build games like the ones seen in www.miniclips.com, www.pog.com and why not, games like Farmville. Actionscript is also used extensively to create animation effects in websites from simple banners to developing whole websites.

Basic Programming Knowledge Games Creation II Flash

Students will benefit from the following: Holistic Certificate of Attendance: This is a certificate issued by Holistic Technologies Ltd that confirms that the student attended the course. The Holistic Institute of Technologies is recognized and licensed by the Maltese Ministry of Education (license number 219).

1. Using Flash and ActionScript 3.0 Introduction to AS3 Classes, packages, imports and splitting your scripts up. 2. ActionScript Game Elements "Game Elements" such as timers, collisions, keyboard and mouse interaction 3. Basic Game Framework: A Matching Game 'Matching Pairs of Cards' game. Enhancing the game with a timer, card reveal animation, scoring and sound effects
