Banana Diet Plan
Instructions
o 1 Avoid sugar, alcohol, and diet drinks which can create sugar cravings and stop weight loss.
o 2 Breakfast:
For breakfast you can have 1 banana with a glass of water. This can then be followed with a small
healthy breakfast that preferably contains protein
o 3 Lunch:
Start off with 1 banana with a glass of water. Then you can have a small healthy lunch that includes
some type of protein.
o 4 Snacks - You’re allowed to have an afternoon snack at 3:00 p.m. but desserts after meals are off
limit
o 5 Dinner:
Have a banana along with a glass of water. You can then follow this with a small healthy dinner that
includes protein. It is suggested to eat dinner before 6p.m. but no later than 8 p.m. and to drink room
temperature water at each meal
o 6 Exercise:
Stick to a regular exercise plan to complement the banana diet. To achieve more effective weight loss
you should always strive for at least thirty minutes of some type of exercise each day.
o 7 Drink mostly water.2.5 liters /8 glasses of water daily. The banana diet says to drink water in sips,
and not in large amounts. Don't use it to wash down food. If you need a sweet in the afternoon, you
can have one, but don't eat if you're not hungry.
7 Days Diet
Monday
Eat as much fruit (and juices) as you wish of any fruits, except bananas.
Tuesday
Eat all of the vegetables (and vegetable soup) that you wish.
Wednesday
A combination of Monday & Tuesday (i.e. fruit – except bananas, juices, vegetables,
vegetable soups).
Thursday
Eat 5 bananas and drink 5 glasses of whole milk. Some versions say 8 bananas and 4 glass
of milk.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each – beef/chicken/fish) with unlimited green vegetables
