Daily Chart Analysis

1. Trend : Uptrend/Downtrend/Sideways (Highs and Lows), 20MA (up/flat/down), MacD


(above/below 0)

Why : to decide to long or short

2. Support : Immediate level, next level

Support can come from moving average line or horizontal (classical support) line or window

3. Resistance : Immediate level, next level


Resistance can come from moving average line or horizontal (classical resistance) line or falling
window

Observations (in order of sequence):

1. Candlestick – White or black or any significant shadows?


2. Histogram – number of R or G? any bullish(e.g. trend is uptrend-higher high but RSI shows lower
high)/ bearish divergence is seen?
3. RSI – at which level? Overbought/ oversold? Any bullish(e.g. trend is uptrend-higher high but RSI
shows lower high)/ bearish divergence is seen?
4. Stochastic – Bullish(blue line crosses red line upwards – this is a buy signal)/ bearish crossover?
Overbought(blue line above 80%)/ oversold(blue line below 20%)?
5. Bollinger band – upper/ lower band? Squeeze?

Conclusion:

Long or short or wait?

Which level to watch out for?

Why and what’s the chances of the current price to go up/down?

If good chance, do ESP and position sizing

If not good chance, any other alternatives? E.g. play breakout? (if yes, do ESP for breakout strategy)
