TERMS TO NOTE:

MULTIPROGRAMMING – The ability of a computer to execute


two or more programs at the same time, using one CPU (or
processor).

MULTIPROCESSING – The ability of a computer to execute


programs on two or more processors simultaneously. The
program is distributed over several processors.

MUTLITASKING – The concurrent execution (at the same time)


of two or more related tasks. A group of cooperating tasks is
executed simultaneously to achieve a common goal.
