Coffee Project: Malaysian Coffee

1. Define Varietals and explain the kind of (species) coffee that is grown in your
country.

Varietal : of, relating to, or characterizing a variety; being a variety in


distinction from an individual or species. ([Link])

2. Where is the coffee grown in the country you picked? (Geographical


location)

3. How is your coffee processed? (hand picked, machine harvested, etc)

4. What kind of coffee is produced? (instant, gourmet, etc)

5. How is the coffee prepared in that country? (boiled in a pot, steamed, etc)

6. Give a very small summary (between 50 to 100 words) of coffee history from
your particular country.

7. Where is this coffee sold? (supermarkets, gourmet shops, market, etc)

8. Is the coffee produced for national or international consumption?

9. What are the major coffee brands from that country? (include pictures of
labels)
10. Which are the leading brands for the same kind of coffee outside that
country? (include pictures of labels)
