Lokayukta Complaint Process Flowchart

The LOKAYUKTA receives complaints and sends them to an investigation officer for preliminary inquiry. If the charges are found to not be false or unproveable, the concerned authority is asked to provide an explanation within a set time. A final report is prepared by the investigation officer and recommendations are sent to the competent authority. The government must then provide an action taken report.
