RS232 Data Bus Status Indicator

This circuit diagram shows an RS232 data bus status indicator that uses four 74HCT04 hex inverters and resistors to monitor the transmit and receive data lines. When the transmit and receive data lines are at zero volts, the lights on the indicator will be off, otherwise the lights will be on.
