Fabrication of Working Model of Environmental Friendly Coach Toilet Discharge System


in Indian Railways (Group Leader).
Description
In this our first preference is to reduce the excreta problem in Indian railways which occurring
due to discharge of excreta directly to the ground and tracks which causes unhygenic condition at
junction and also damage of tracks.
In one bogie there are four toilets we join all toilets through pipe i.e. four pipes. one end of
pipes is attach to toilet through which excreta is come and other end of pipe is attached to one
hopper in inclined [Link] by using gravity all excreta is come to hopper and below hopper we
attach one rack and pinion ,plate and switch.
When the railway pass through junction after 4 km the rack and pinion is operate by driver
through one switch so as soon as it operates all excreta are fall down to one place by attaching
one gas carrier and in this way we reduce the unhygienic condition at junction. We sent one

letter to deputy chief mechanical engineer, Nagpur workshop for review purpose of
fabricated model
