Earthing Calculation Methodology Guide

This document provides an overview of how to perform an earthing calculation for an electrical system. It discusses why the calculation is important for safety and design purposes. The methodology involves sizing earthing conductors and evaluating touch and step potentials, with 7 steps outlined including determining soil resistivity, earthing grid resistance, fault current, and verifying the grid design meets safety criteria. A worked example is also provided to demonstrate how the calculation is applied.
