Abby Prutzman

Abby Prutzman kept a service learning log from February to March 2016 where she helped monitor students before school and provided math intervention using flashcards. Over the course of six mornings, she worked with two fourth grade boys, starting with 7's multiplication facts and progressing to 12's facts by the end of the semester. Her students were able to quickly learn new facts each week.

semester for morning intervention we focused on math, specifically multiplication facts. I
worked with two boys who were in the fourth grade. My students were very fluent with their
multiplication facts. Because of this, each week we were able to move along to the next set of
multiplications facts. We started with 7s and by the end of the semester we made it to 12s.
