Classroom Management Strategies Explained

The teacher prepares students for lessons by giving them free time to do activities with her and the teaching assistant before class starts. She ensures all students are involved by asking questions and having them sit close by. To get students' attention and transition between tasks, she uses songs and clapping games. When students misbehave, she tells them to be quiet, splits them up, or has them sit on chairs instead of the floor mat. She encourages students by smiling, hugging them, telling jokes, and building their self-confidence.
