Instructional Objectives (2-3):
Students will learn how to create am original landscape. Create a design, using lines,
and apply water color paint to wet areas to blend color (wet-on-wet technique).
Elements of Art (1-3) line, color, shape, form, space, texture, value
Principles of Design (1-3) repetition, pattern, movement, balance, emphasis, contrast, unity
Materials and Equipment: watercolors, paintbrush, pencil, crayons, cup of water,
paper towel, 12x18 multimedia paper
General Vocabulary (4-5): background, middle ground, foreground, horizon line.
