CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

House Rules:
Rules are important in creating a classroom environment that is conducive to
learning. It is also a good venue to empower and discipline the students at the same.
House rules must be democratically conceived, thus, at the very start of the school
year, the students will be creating their own rules and its corresponding
consequences.
1. All students must come ahead of the start time. If the class flag ceremony
starts at 7:00AM, all of the students should be at school by 6:50AM. Log
sheets will be provided where they can stamp in and stamp out. Integrity must
always be exercised. Coming in 5 minutes after 7:00AM is considered late and
should be made to explain to the whole class why s/he is late.
2. Follow the time schedule. There are designated time for each subjects
including lunch and recess. Projects not related to the current subject must be
set aside. Assignments should be done at home.
3. Otherwise asked by the teacher, the chairs must be arranged in U-shape. The
discussant, who can either be the teacher, student or visitor, can stay in front
or in the middle.
4. When somebody is discussing in front, whether a teacher, a student or a
visitor, everybody should pay respect by listening attentively and asking
interesting/related questions. The students are also encouraged to ask
intelligent class to hone their skills on critical thinking.
5. Class participation is highly encouraged. Point system can be adapted for
those who participates.
6. Keep the classroom always clean and orderly. The classroom is a house of
learning and must be kept free from clutter and hazard.
7. Wearing of proper uniform and identification is a must.

8. Cellphones and other electronic gadgets must be in silent mode and kept
during class hours.
9. When issues concerning student conflict, approach the teacher properly for
resolution. Violence is highly discouraged and will be dealt by the prefect of
discipline.
10. Always show interest on learning by submitting all the required outputs.
Academic excellence must be at the core of every student.
11. Always respect others. Always think of the good of the many. Exercise social
responsibility.
12. Most importantly, have fun learning!
