Debunking the Rapture Theory

The document refutes the doctrine of the rapture or any moment doctrine, which suggests that Jesus could return at any moment to take believers to heaven before the tribulation. It provides 12 reasons to reject this based on biblical themes and passages. It argues that the Bible depicts a long period of time for the great commission to be fulfilled and seed growth, and that Paul and Jesus predicted their own deaths, not a rapture. It also says Matthew 24 specifies signs must come first before the end.

The Rapture Ruse

Introduction: There are many Christians out there who believe in a false teaching known as the The
Rapture Theory or Any Moment Doctrine. Many of you have heard of the rapture and you probably
think that this is something for Christians to look forward to in the distant future; however, that could
not be farther from the truth. This doctrine suggests that at any moment Jesus Christ is going to return
to the Earth to take up His election to Heaven so that they may all be spared the time of tribulation
spoken of in Revelation and avoid the death of their flesh bodies. In this brief lesson I would like to
refute the claims of the Rapture Lie by providing biblical proof as to why this theory or doctrine has no
foundation in scripture. So without any further adieu let us ask for that word of wisdom from our Father
that He may lead, guide and direct us in our studies today…

•12 Reasons to reject the “Any Moment Doctrine” or “The Rapture Theory”:

•In Scripture there is the theme found throughout, of a Great Commission which has to be fulfilled – For
this to happen implies a very long-period of time.

•The Bible Speaks abundantly of Seed and in particular Seed-Growth both symbolic, figurative & even
literally depending on the verse. Either way seed growth is also a time consuming process and you can
see an example of this teaching InThe Book of Matthew

Mat 13:1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

Mat 13:2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat;
and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

Mat 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

Mat 13:4And when he sowed, someseedsfell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them
up:

Mat 13:5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up,
because they had no deepness of earth:

Mat 13:6And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered
away.

Mat 13:7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

Mat 13:8But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold,
some thirtyfold.

Mat 13:9Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the
kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Mat 13:12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever
hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Mat 13:13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear
not, neither do they understand.

Mat 13:14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall
not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

Mat 13:15For this people’s heart is waxed gross, andtheirears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they
have closed; lest at any time they should see withtheireyes, and hear withtheirears, and should
understand withtheirheart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Mat 13:16But blessedareyour eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Mat 13:17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteousmenhave desired to seethose
thingswhich ye see, and have not seenthem;and to hearthose thingswhich ye hear, and have not
heardthem.

Mat 13:18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

Mat 13:19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandethitnot, then cometh the
wickedone, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the
way side.

Mat 13:20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and
anon with joy receiveth it;

Mat 13:21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution
ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Mat 13:22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this
world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Mat 13:23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and
understandethit;which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some
thirty.

Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a
man which sowed good seed in his field:

Mat 13:25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

Mat 13:27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed
in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

Mat 13:28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that
we go and gather them up?

Mat 13:29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Mat 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my
barn.

Mat 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of
mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

Mat 13:32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs,
and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Mat 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a
woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Mat 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he
not unto them:

Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in
parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto
him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Mat 13:38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the
children of the wickedone;

Mat 13:39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers
are the angels.

Mat 13:40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this
world.

Mat 13:41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things
that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Mat 13:42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 13:43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears
to hear, let him hear.
Mat 13:44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath
found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Mat 13:45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

Mat 13:46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought
it.

Mat 13:47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of
every kind:

Mat 13:48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into
vessels, but cast the bad away.

Mat 13:49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from
among the just,

Mat 13:50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 13:51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

Mat 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribewhich isinstructed unto the kingdom of
heaven is like unto a manthat isan householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasurethingsnew and
old.

•In his 2nd Epistle To Timothy Chapter 4:6-8 Paul expected Death Not A Rapture Outta Here?

2Ti 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

•Jesus Predicted Peter’s Martyrdom in:

Joh 21:18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst
whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall
gird thee, and carrytheewhither thou wouldest not.

Joh 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this,
he saith unto him, Follow me.

•In Matthew Chapter 24 It specifically states that signs must come first I will go ahead and read the
entire chapter 24 with you today becasue it concernes signs and the end times, it is the teaching of our
Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s see if you come up with anything that supports any kind of rapture, I gest
because your not gonna find any evidence of a rapture in the Bible. You will also not find the word
rapture anywhere in God’s Word so Go ahead and open up your bibles with me to The Gospel of Jesus
Christ According To Mattew. Unlike some preachers out there who claim to teach the bible and never
really get around to doing it we here at The Fellowship of The Living Word we are actually going to teach
the word so let us open up to Mat chapter 24 and verse 1 will read:

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew
him the buildings of the temple.

Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be
left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us,
when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for allthese
thingsmust come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mat 24:8All thesearethe beginning of sorrows.

Mat 24:9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all
nations for my name’s sake.

Mat 24:10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Mat 24:11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Mat 24:13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mat 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.

Mat 24:15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Mat 24:16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Mat 24:17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Mat 24:18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Mat 24:19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Mat 24:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mat 24:22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the
elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Mat 24:23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, hereisChrist, or there; believeitnot.

Mat 24:24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, ifit werepossible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mat 24:25Behold, I have told you before.

Mat 24:26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold,he isin
the secret chambers; believeitnot.

Mat 24:27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the
coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Mat 24:29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall
not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 24:30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great
glory.

Mat 24:31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mat 24:32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summerisnigh:

Mat 24:33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, evenat the doors.

Mat 24:34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Mat 24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mat 24:36But of that day and hour knoweth noman,no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mat 24:37But as the days of Noewere,so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Mat 24:39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be.

Mat 24:40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41Twowomen shall begrinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Mat 24:42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat 24:43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Mat 24:44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Mat 24:45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to
give them meat in due season?

Mat 24:46Blessedisthat servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Mat 24:47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Mat 24:48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

Mat 24:49And shall begin to smitehisfellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

Mat 24:50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not forhim, and in an hour that
he is not aware of,

Mat 24:51And shall cut him asunder, and appointhimhis portion with the hypocrites: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.

•We see in the scriputures that there is a long interval of time between Christ’s Ascension and His
Return It also spoke of a Jewish Dispersion Into all nations Where it speaks of a man travelling into a far
country Luk 21:1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

Luk 21:2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

Luk 21:3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

Luk 21:4For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury
hath cast in all the living that she had.

Luk 21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

Luk 21:6As forthese things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one
stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Luk 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there
be when these things shall come to pass?

Luk 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I
amChrist;and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Luk 21:9But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first
come to pass; but the endisnot by and by.
Luk 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

Luk 21:11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful
sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luk 21:12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecuteyou, deliveringyouup to
the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

Luk 21:13And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Luk 21:14Settleittherefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

Luk 21:15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay
nor resist.

Luk 21:16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; andsomeof
you shall they cause to be put to death.

Luk 21:17And ye shall be hated of allmenfor my name’s sake.

Luk 21:18But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

Luk 21:19In your patience possess ye your souls.

Luk 21:20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation
thereof is nigh.

Luk 21:21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst
of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Luk 21:22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Luk 21:23But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there
shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Luk 21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and
Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Luk 21:25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luk 21:26Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the
earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Luk 21:27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Luk 21:28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

Luk 21:30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at
hand.

Luk 21:31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is
nigh at hand.

Luk 21:32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Luk 21:33Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luk 21:34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares of this life, andsothat day come upon you unawares.

Luk 21:35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Luk 21:36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these
things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luk 21:37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the
mount that is called the mount of Olives.

Luk 21:38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

It also says that after a long time the lord of those servants cometh Mat 25:1Then shall the kingdom of
heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Mat 25:2And five of them were wise, and fivewerefoolish.

Mat 25:3They thatwerefoolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Mat 25:4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Mat 25:5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Mat 25:7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

Mat 25:8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Mat 25:9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye
rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Mat 25:10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him
to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Mat 25:12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Mat 25:13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mat 25:14Forthe kingdom of heaven isas a man travelling into a far country, whocalled his own servants,
and delivered unto them his goods.

Mat 25:15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man
according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

Mat 25:16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and
madethemother five talents.

Mat 25:17And likewise he thathad receivedtwo, he also gained other two.

Mat 25:18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.

Mat 25:19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

Mat 25:20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord,
thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

Mat 25:21His lord said unto him, Well done, thougood and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over
a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Mat 25:22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two
talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

Mat 25:23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a
few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Mat 25:24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an
hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

Mat 25:25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,therethou hastthat isthine.

Mat 25:26His lord answered and said unto him,Thouwicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I
reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

Mat 25:27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, andthenat my coming I
should have received mine own with usury.

Mat 25:28Take therefore the talent from him, and giveitunto him which hath ten talents.

Mat 25:29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that
hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
Mat 25:30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth.

Mat 25:31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit
upon the throne of his glory:

Mat 25:32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as
a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Mat 25:33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Mat 25:34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Mat 25:35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a
stranger, and ye took me in:

Mat 25:36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Mat 25:37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed
thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

Mat 25:38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Mat 25:39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Mat 25:40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done
it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have doneitunto me.

Mat 25:41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting
fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mat 25:42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

Mat 25:43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and
ye visited me not.

Mat 25:44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a
stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Mat 25:45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye diditnot to one of the
least of these, ye diditnot to me.

Mat 25:46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

7. The apostasy of the last days that it speaks of in The Epistle of Jude takes a great amount of time to
develop just as everything in God’s Master Plan: Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto
you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should
earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this
condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only
Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jud 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over
to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.

Jud 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

•In the Holy Bible it speaks of a Bridegroom which is symbolic of Israelites or Christians it says that the
bridegroom tarried in the parable of the virgins that we just read about in Matt 25:1-13

•the Pastoral epistles teach of the church’s continuing ministry which also involves time

•Paul says Christ’s coming is imminent:2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter
as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

*for apostasy must come first and then the AntiChrist who is Satan. All these things have to happen
before Jesus Christ returns.

•In the book of Revelation we see 7 phases of Church History aka the 7 churches of Revelation. This
involves a lapse of time and immediate difficulties for Pre-Trib Rapture Theorists. How could Christ come
before the last phase of the church.

•There are Exhortations to watch and be ready in scriputure which are tied to what Pre-Tribe teachers
regard as the 2nd stage in Matt 24 & 25, I Cor 1:7, Colossians 3:4, I Thess 3:13, I Pet 1:13, and also in I
John 2:28.

- another thing I would like to point out is that most pre-tribers are quoting from the Diadache and not
the Bible! The diadache is a collection of apostolic writings concerning the conduct and principles of the
early church. In other words a book of man’s words and not God’s. The Diadache is not an inspired work
and therefore should not be considered for study other than for historical curiosity!

•In I Thess 4:16 it says that “The dead in Christ shall rise first” I would like to point out and warn you
students out there of the Bible that this is not a rapture.

•In I Thess 4:17 it says “Then we which are alive and remain” : in the original (G) the word remain is
acutally survive and is translated from the word G4035

περιλείπω

perileipō
per-ee-li’-po

From G4012 and G3007; to leave all around, that is, (passively) survive: – remain.

- In Thess 4:17 it also says caught up which when translated properly from the original greek means
taken with them

G726

ἁρπάζω

harpazō

har-pad’-zo

From a derivative of G138; to seize (in various applications): – catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by
force).

Also “In the clouds” should be translated cloudiness meaning confusion The word that has been
mistranslated as clouds comes from the greek word G3507

νεφέλη

nephelē

nef-el’-ay

From G3509; properly cloudiness, that is, (concretely) a cloud: – cloud.

Want more proof that Christians are to remain and endure the Tribulation Just look at the Gospel of
Jesus Christ here are two prime examples of what we are discussing here today:

Mat_24:40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Mal_3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your
ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mat_24:18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Why does it say here not to return home for your belongings or clothes? The answerm is becasue you
will not be needing them you will be aquiring a new rainment when our Father returns.

Luk_17:31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come
down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Luk_17:36Twomenshall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Basically it is saying the same thing as it did in Matthew 3 and 24…

Then it says “To meet in the Lord in the air the greek says to breth unconsciously and so we shall ever be
with the lord. When we are in the presence of the lord we are in our spirtual bodies not our flesh bodies
the spirit body which is translated wrong into the word ghost throughout the KJV Bible Comes from the
Hebrew word Ruache or the Greek Word Nuema and both mean the same thing and that is Breath of
Life Body. This transfer from the flesh into the spirit has to take place before our Father returns and the
reason for that is we cannot be in the presence of our Father in this dimension of the physical and of the
flesh. When in the presence of our Lord we are all in Spiritual Bodies there is no other way for us to be in
His Dimension which simply put is Heaven.

In I Thess 5:6,7 it describes how to get into heaven:1Th 5:6 ThereforeG686 G3767 let us notG3361

Let us take a closer look at Tribulation. What is Tribulation?

-Tribulation =A state or time of Great affliction.

(G)thlipsis=pressure or affliction, tribulation or trouble and comes from the greek word thlibo= meaning
to afflict.

(H) Tsar: figurative of trouble or tribulation (noun) meaning a tight narrow place

-The Word of God explains Tribulation as being descriptive of several aspects or conditions of life

•National Distress in Duet 4:30

•Afflictions I Sam 10:19

•Percecutions I thess 3:4

•severe testings Rev 2:10, 22

-A Christians attitude towards tribulation should be:

•must expect – Acts 14:22

•glory in – Rom 5:3

•overcome – Rom 8:35-37

•patient in – Rom 12:12

•joyful in – II Cor 7:4

•faint not at – Ephesians 3:13

Now you want to know directly What God thinks of people who teach the Rapture:

Eze 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and
make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and
will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

Eze 13:19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay
the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people
that hear your lies?

Eze 13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there
hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the
souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

Eze 13:21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no
more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Eze 13:22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad;
and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising
him life:

Eze 13:23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out
of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Conclusion: so there you have it! All the scriputral proof you need to refute the ruse or lie know as the
rapture. As you now know there is no evidence of a rapture in the Bible not to mention the word does
not even appear once in the KJV. We went over some key words in the original Hebrew & Greek to help
bring to light the truth that is in God’s Word. That truth isn’t for everybody it is only for those whom
Love our Father. To those whom have eyes to see and ears to hear. Can you recognize truth in this time
of lies, deceit and apostasy? The more you study the easier it gets to determine whats what and who’s
who so to speak….If God see’s you seeking him out then He will definetly bless your life return. Do you
have God’s blessings in your life or do you skate through life with no direction, constantly depending on
the traditions of man to lead and guide which have time and time again lead us to our own demise,
failure and destruction. If you would like to learn more on this subject then perhaps you may want to
Google or search out Margrett MacDonald. She was a sick lady who lived in the 1800’s. The rapture
theory became an overnight sensation when two of her caretakers (which happened to be bretheren of
the church) recording here insane ramblings immediately after an intense fever dream that was directly
related to her sickness…she dreamt of an any-moment doctrine in which Christ would come at any
moment to rapture His election out of here; away from Earth. You and me know there is only one
problem with this and that is that Christ is coming here and he gave us a road map of events to follow
and use as signs as to approx. When his coming will be…The Bible clearly states that Christ returns after
the 7th trump and after satan returns to the earth for a 5 and half month reign here on Earth. Rapturists
and pre-tribers along with Jews, Muslim and other apostate Christians will all be fooled into thinking
that Satan or Antichrist is The True Christ come to rapture them away…Don’t be fooled you now have
the tools to avoid being duped. Thats gonna about rap it up for today. I thank you for studying with The
Fellowhip of The Living Word now before we finish up let us close with a brief prayer to our heavenly
Father!
