March Madness Reading Contest

The “March Madness Reading Tourna-
ment” will take place at the same time
as the “March Madness” college bas-
ketball national championship tourna-
ment. Students will be placed on teams
with Frederica Academy coaches as
the head of each team. Students will
record their minutes of reading and the
minutes of all the players on a team will
be added together (including the
coaches). At the point of “sweet six-
teen”, the minutes read will be as- March Madness
sessed. The team in the lead at that Reading Tournament
point will get an
additional 30 min- FA Knights
utes added to
their score. This
will be done
again at “elite Organization
eight”, “final four”
and “finals”. Each time, the team in the
Frederica Academy Academy
lead will be given an additional 30 min-
utes added to their score. The team in 200 Hamilton Road
