Wear heat peepers. What did we learn about heat

Explain there is a way we can measure how hot

1. Retrieve lapbooks and return heat peepers
2. Instruct: see your hot and cold charts? Now we
are going to compare things that are hotter than
and colder than each other!
3. Model: my mini-book was cut out, folded and
glued, then I filled out hot cocoa was hotter than
ice with an arrow pointing to both to show that
ice is colder than hot cocoa. I coloured the arrow
by ice blue and the arrow by cocoa red to show
what is hot and what is cold.
