 Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be
brought back anytime this week.

 Spelling Words – Spelling words for unit 27 were sent home today.

 Tests – Our math test will be on Wednesday. The optional practice test was
given out last Friday.

We will also have an English test on Unit 6 (adjectives) on Friday.

 Holy Week – This week is Holy Week. Church services are Maundy Thursday
at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. and Good Friday at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Easter Sunday
service times are 7:30, 8:45, and 11:15 a.m. An Easter brunch will be served
after the 7:30 and 8:45 services.

 Singing in Church – We will be singing in church this Friday, April 2nd, at the
2:00 Good Friday service. We will sit together as a class. After the service
the students will return to the classroom until the end of the day at 3:05.

 Easter Vacation – Easter vacation will begin after school this Friday, April
2nd. We will resume classes on Monday, April 12th. Enjoy the week off!

 Report Cards - If you have any questions about your child’s report card,
please contact me. Please sign and return the envelope by this Friday, April
2nd.

 Book Orders – Scholastic book and software order forms were sent home
today. The forms are due back this Friday, April 2nd. A reminder that only
checks will be accepted and they must be made out to Scholatic Books.

 Sonshine Station – This is a program held at Apostles for children, ages 3


through 4th grade which will consist of stories, puppets, and activities
(including a train ride) to teach about God’s love. It is offered the first
Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. The next Sonshine Station
will be held this Saturday, April 3rd. This would be a great opportunity for
you to invite your relatives, neighbors, friends, etc.!

 Practice Track Meet – Information regarding this event was sent home
today. In order for this event to be successful, many volunteers are needed!
Your help would be greatly appreciated! Please return the Volunteer Form
by Wednesday, April 14th, if you are able to help.
