Students (Ss) brainstorm What is Gold? as a
class. Teacher (T) facilitates discussion through
questioning: Where does it come from? Where
was gold first discovered in Australia? What
can be made from gold? What is the Gold
Rush and what is it its significance to Australian
History and Democracy?
Ss are then given the following website:
