Integumentary System

The document describes the 10 organ systems of the human body. It focuses on the integumentary system which consists of the skin and its accessory structures like hair, nails and glands. The skin is the largest organ and has 3 layers - epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. The epidermis contains keratinocytes, melanocytes, Langerhans cells and Merkel cells. The dermis contains blood vessels, hair follicles, nerve endings and glands. The hypodermis attaches the skin to underlying tissues. Hair and nails are also described.
