Welcome on board the LPG/ C Fritzi N,
Below you shall find notes, which shall assist you in having a comfortable approach to the
vessel. In order to take you through the third officer's jobs responsibilities onboard I have
tried best to conclude here, all the possibilities. This piece of document would make the
approach easy for you to be acquainted to the systems and operations on board.
This is a fully refrigerated gas carrier of cargo capacity 82,000m3 owned by General Gas
Carrier Corporation Ltd.
Anglo Eastern (Singapore) does technical management
Commercial Operator is Anglo Eastern (Singapore).
Superintendent for this vessel is Mr. Manish Panchal
EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS:
GENERAL EMERGENCY I FIRE
ALARM:
SEVEN OR MORE SHORT BLAST ON SHIP'S BELL AND !OR WHISTLE I HORN.
ABANDON SHIP:
ONLY VERBAL ORDERS FROM MASTER ON SHIPS P.A. OR DIRECTLY.
LIFEBOAT:
YOUR LIFEBOAT IS NO: 2 (PORT SIDE).
ABANDON SHIP DUTIES
ASSIST I/C, IMPORT DOCS/LOGS, DISTRESS COMMUNICATION.
EMERGENCY DUTIES:
YOU ARE MEMBER OF BRIDGE TEAM AND YOUR DUTY IS COMMUNICATION/ GMDSS AND
RECORD KEEPING.
