Connect Setup Guide Wireless N ADSL2+ TPLink TD-W8951ND Modem/Router

STARTING UP THE MODEM ROUTER

Connect the Ethernet cable to any of the 4 LAN ports on the router and to your computer
Connect the Telephone cable (RJ-11) to the DSL port on the router and to the wall socket
Connect power supply and switch router on

CONNECTING TO THE MODEM ROUTER

Open your Internet browser


Enter [Link] in the address bar and press Enter
Enter admin as User Name and Password and click OK (Fig. 1)

SETTING UP YOUR INTERNET ACCOUNT

Click on Quick Start and select RUN WIZARD (Fig. 2)

Under Quick Start Wizard, click on NEXT (Fig.3)

On the Quick Start Time Zone window, click on the drop down arrow to select Fiji time zone and click on NEXT. (Fig.4)

Under Quick Start ISP Connection Type, select PPPoE/PPPoA then click on NEXT. (Fig. 5)

Under Quick Start PPPoE/PPPoA, enter the internet Username, Password, change VPI to 0 then click on NEXT. (Fig. 6)

On the Quick StartWlan , type in the SSID name (personalized wireless name), click on the drop down arrow where
Authentication Type is and select WPA2-PSK. Enter the Pre-Shared Key (wireless key mixture of both digits & letters).
Click on NEXT. (Fig. 7)

On the Quick Start Complete!! wizard, click on NEXT. (Fig. 8)

Finally on the Quick Start Completed!! setup window, click on CLOSE. (Fig. 9)

The router should now connect to the internet if all the above steps were followed correctly.
