Read through all slides and watch all videos for the following Historical Figures: Frederick
Douglass, Paul Revere, Lyndon B. Johnson, Thurgood Marshall, Cesar Chavez, Franklin
Delano Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, Susan B. Anthony, Mary McLeod Bethune
Choose 1 historical figure you would like to learn more about and research using the
internet. Refer to what you have already learned this year. Create a
presentation/document of everything you know about him/her. This can be a brochure,
Powerpoint presentation, etc. Email to your teacher.

Winter Weather Log


Directions: In the event of more inclement weather our students need to be prepared for a Work at
Home day. In order to receive credit for this time please fill out the Winter Weather Log to document
the time in the activities that your child participates in each day. Students should spend 2-3 hours per
day working on these activities. This will also be posted on the Classroom webpage for your convenience,
if you have power!
