This week we are learning:

Opposites

Circle Time Review


We will quickly go over the DOTW
and the Weather. Most of this time,
though, will be dedicated to
graduation rehearsal. The students
are broken up into 4 groups of 6
talking and dancing about the form of
wacky transportation they use to get
to school.

Dates: January 26-30, 2015

Activity Time

Vocabulary: fast/slow, loud/quiet, boy/girl, happy/sad, left/right, big/small,


yes/no, up/down, open/close, tall/short, clean/dirty, pretty/ugly
Sentence Structures: What is the opposite of....(up)? The opposite of ..
(up) is.....(down).
Activities: We will sing the opposites song and review vocabulary. We
will also complete a few more worksheets for better
Oppositescomprehension. The students will have a choice of
completing big/small, heavy/light, short/tall, and fast/slow worksheet. The
students will also use TPR, holding a feeling objects-hard/soft,
heavy/light, etc.

New Letters and Sounds

Review

This week we will be blending with the letters used in the Color Me Alphabet worksheets. We will
blend different vowels with the letter Z. After we are completed with the worksheets we will move
on to letter names..

We are reviewing j, z, w, x, y, z
and q. We will blend these sounds
into 2 letter sight words.
