SINCE 1985
Basic Threads is a family owned company that began making
cover-ups for dance clothes in 1985. At the time, women sweated
it out in polyester and nylon, and Basic Threads offered women
refreshing choices made of 100% natural fibers.
From the beginning our goal was to provide a high quality product made in the USA which we are proud to say we have been
delivering for 29 years. Starting with sweats and socks, we soon
branched out into a full and varied line of womens fashion designed by Wendy to great success. Working with a company in
Long Beach that spins natural fibers into fabrics, and maintaining
our long relationship with the cutters, dyers, sewers and finishers
based in Los Angeles, our clothes are still entirely fabricated in
America.
This season we are excited to offer stunning new styles combining our classic BT simplicity with a modern twist.
Whether you are looking for something cozy, something casual,
or elegant essentials for anytime anywhere, Basic Threads will
keep you covered instyle, quality, class and comfort for 2015 and
