500g Pasta
1 Onion
1 Garlic Clove
Basil
2 jars of Tomato Paste
A pinch of Salt
A pinch of Pepper
1 tablespoon of Oil

2/3 of your pot full of water

Instruction
Finely chop the onion on a chopping board and crush the garlic
Put a large saucepan on the stove, turn the heat to medium and
put the oil in the pan
Wait 30 seconds then add the onion and garlic and stir until the
onion is soft
Add the mince then stir until the meat is browned all over
Add the tomato paste to the saucepan and water to the pot
Add your spices then use a wooden spoon to mix together
Turn the heat to low, simmer the sauce without the lid for about 30
minutes or until it thickens slightly, stir occasionally with the
wooden spoon
While the sauce is cooking, put another large saucepan on the
stove and use a jug to pour in enough water to come 2/3 of the
way up the side of the pan
Turn the heat to high, cover the pan with a lid and bring the water
to the boil
Using oven mitts, remove the lid and add the spaghetti to the
boiling water
When the water boils again, stir the spaghetti with a wooden

Boil the spaghetti without the lid for about 10 minutes or until it is
just soft
Test it taking a few strands of spaghetti from the pan with a fork,
letting it cool slightly then tasting it
Stand the colander in the sink and using oven mitts, take the pan
of spaghetti to the sink and pour the spaghetti into the colander
and let the water drain away
Then serve with shredded cheese and a piece of basil on top and
enjoy!
