Ballot Question 2: Dream or Nightmare - You Decide
Sierra Vista voters are being asked to approve a dream, and thats just what Vista
2030 is: a dream, not reality! What are you being asked to approve? Smoke and
mirrors!

In the planning phase, about 500 residents took part. That is a participation of less
than 1% of the more than 45,000 residents of Sierra Vista! Participants were
asked what they would like, not what was needed or what the budget would allow.
Nothing was said about priorities or costs.

The City Council is so confident that you will approve this nightmare that they
have begun discussing a new City Center to be located on State Trust land
adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park. (City Council work session September 14,
2014) They have estimated the land cost at $5 million dollars; thats without any
improvements or buildings! In addition, they discussed an additional project, the
Gateway Project, on the West End. Is this your priority?

The Council could fund these projects through the Municipal Property
Corporation (MPC).

This method used sales tax revenue to retire the bonds, does not need voter
approval and has no funding cap. The city already owes over $23 million to the

The Municipal Property Corporation was established by Resolution 578 in 1980 for
the financing of the cost of acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, or improving
building, equipment, and other real or personal properties suitable for use by and for
leasing to the City of Sierra Vista, its agencies or instruments. Five members are
appointed to staggered, three-year terms.

The City Council published a supplement to the Sierra Vista Herald on October 13
which promotes ballot approval of the un-funded wish list of a few residents. The
following is a quote from the questions and answers on the last page: Q: Will 2030
cause the expenditure of any city funds? A: No. Vista 2030 is a planning and
policy document to help determine where and how future projects will occur. Any
capital expenditure on the part of the City requires budgeting and approval by
the Mayor and City Council on a case by case basis. (Editors note: or MPC
funding and no voter input)
Where does it say you have a voice in the approval of costs?

Insist on that right by voting NO on Question 2!


THE PROCESS BY WHICH AMERICA IS BEING
TALKED INTO COMMITTING SUICIDE

It is called Conditioned Response. We know it
by the term Political Correctness (PC).
Who has not heard of Pavlov and his dogs? He
was not a psychiatrist as many believe, but a
physiologist who determined with certainty a
physical response to sounds. He called them
conditioned responses. In other words, how does
a beings body react to outside stimuli? Once he
found out that bodies unwittingly connect one
stimulus with another simultaneous event or action,
he realized that it was possible to create
conditioned responses.
In Hitlers Germany this knowledge became an
entire governmental division and was called
Propaganda and the man who headed this was
Joseph Goebbels. He joined the Nazi Party in 1924.
He was a college graduate and had likely been
subjected to learning the latest psychological
advancements including the results of Pavlovs
experiments. He could, he said, play the popular
will, taking his audience where he wanted them to
go. He was quoted saying that he drove his
listeners into ecstasy, making them stand up, sing
songs, raise their arms, repeat oaths, and he did it,
not through passionate inspiration of the moment,
but as the result of sober psychological
calculations.
While Germany was learning all of these
wonderful ways and words to elicit conditioned
responses from its populace, what was going in
America? Were we behind the learning curve?
Unfortunately, it is impossible to pinpoint the use of
propaganda techniques, as those uses would
obviously be kept as secretive as possible.
Still, there are clear trends that can be followed
and it became obvious over time that psychological
play was in use. Perhaps the best and most concise
treatise that I have read on the subject is The
Origins Of Political Correctness by Bill Lind. He ably
shows that the trend towards conditioned
responses was indeed used, in order to manipulate
the masses which began in the 1930s right here in
America. Anyone who doubts that conditioned
responses are not in play today needs to check their
ability to feel fear. Yes, we have been conditioned
to feel fear at the use of many words.
Political Correctness, which is designed to stop
you from objecting to any kind of change that the
liberals want to enact, is full blown in this America
of ourseven to the extent that you may not even
complain when your Doctor says you are too old to
be saved from Ebola.
Political Correctness has evolved to not only
include the words we carefully use, for sometime it
has dictated the way we dress and act. There are
few people on TV who do not sport the tussled look
of just having slept the day away, nor the male who
does not display a five oclock shadow. Most
frightening of all is the PC dilemma of white cops if
faced by a black criminal with a gun. Political
Correctness dictates a choice of dying in the name
of fairness or facing a year being threatened by a
mob.
In the meantime, the latest Democrat political ad
blames the Republicans for the Ebola outbreak
erroneously claiming that they reduced the ability of
the government to fight the outbreak. 35% of the
voters will believe this outrageous story!
Who, in their wildest imagination ever thought
that words alone would bring down the greatest
governance ever devised on the face of this earth?
And yet, Americans have been so conditioned to
salivate on cue from certain sounds that no one will
even notice if we quietly succumb to that gentle
sleep of national suicide.
It will take the righteousness and bravery of each
one of us to take a stand and throw off the
conditioned responses that we have so cruelly
been subjected to.
