Greatest Inuence on Your
Childs Success at School
You are the greatest inuence on your childs success in
and out of school. Several studies show that parent
involvement in checking homework, attending school
meetings and events, and discussing learning at home are
more powerful than anything the school can do. The
best thing you can do for your child is talk to him/her
and read with him/her. This does not have to be in
English! Helping your child increase their vocabulary in
your native language and understand concepts will
benet him/her in school.
