SUBJECT: BASIC TRAINING COURSE FOR UNIT LEADERS
1. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Aklan Council jg pleased to announce the
conduct of the Basic Training Course for Unit Leaders on July 25-27, 2014
at Kalibo Pilot Elementary School, Kalibo, Aklan.
2. The training aims to:
a. Train Scout Leadett its responsibilities in the Unit;
b. Equip with necessary scouting skills that she could share to her members
in the units/institution and the community; and
c. Explore ways of promoting the competitive advantages and relevance of
Scouting in the present social realities.
3. The basiC information about '1e training are as follows:
a. Participants: Troopand Kawan Leaders and Outfit Advisor
b. Course Fee: One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P1 ,500.00) to
cover food (dinner from July 25, 2014 until afternoon
Snacks of July 27, 2014) billeting/accommodation,
training materials and other administrative expenses.
c. Reporting Date: are requested to report promptly at the
treining venue on July 25, 2014 at 1 :00 o'clock in the
afternoon for registration, Opening program will start at
3:00 in the afternoon.
d. What to bring: Type "A" and Type "B" Scout Unifi)rm, Sleeping Gears,
Black Shoes with Shoelace, Casual Clothing, Sports
Wear, Attire for Socials and Personal Belot'\fJings.
4. The registration fee, transportation and other incidental expenses to be
incurred by the participants shall against local funds, subject to
the accounting auditing rules and regulations.
5. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
