Applications are invited to candidates belonging to the North Eastern States including Sikkim for
admission to Post Graduate (MD/MS) Courses, at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and
Medical Sciences, Shillong (affiliated to North Eastern Hills University, Shillong) which will commence on 3rd
May, 2010 in the following courses:-

Note: The number of specialities* and vacancies** where indicated are provisional and may be
reduced/increased subject to obtaining necessary approval.
Date of Entrance Test/ Centre : 21st March, 2010 / Shillong
Last Date of Submission of Application Form : 21st January, 2010 / Before 4.00 p.m.
The prospectus – cum – application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s Website or obtained
personally from NEIGRIHMS Counter from 14/12/2009 to 14/01/2010 (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), against a
demand draft / banker’s cheque of Rs. 1000/- in favour of Director, NEIGRIHMS, payable at Shillong from
Monday to Friday (EXCEPT CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HOLIDAYS).
N.B:- Eligibility Conditions, Prescribed Format, Instructions for filling up the application forms,
Documents required, Application Fee etc, as provided in the Prospectus.
