Anson Police Department Audit Summary

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement conducted a partial audit of the Anson Police Department on August 29, 2013. The audit found some missing documents in licensing files but the chief was able to locate them before the end of the audit. One officer was eligible for basic certification. Racial profiling reports had been submitted as required. Deficiencies noted during the audit were corrected.

Partial audit (3 of 5 files) of agency TCOLE licensing files conducted with Chief Moore. Listed documents missing from files, however, all documents were located prior to the end of the audit. Discussed new
legislation to include TCOLE name change, School Marshal and Telecommunicator licensing, and resumption of LEOSE funding. 1 Licensee eligible for Basic Certification brought to the Chief's attention
(Sanchez- 382552). Agency will be supplied information packet with this Audit Report to include Law Enforcement Agency Checklist, TCOLE Licensing Forms info, TCLEDDS/DRS info, FAST info, and
Pay Status Chart. 2012 Racial Profiling Report submitted as required.
